So here I am, writing a small journal for my small grow. Hoping I can help others, and get help from others, as we continue our journeys with this amazing plant.

First things first:

3x3x6 cool grows tent
190 CFM exhaust fan with filter (thinking of upgrading)
2 double headed smaller clip on fans
1 oscillating tower fan
1 medium Tornado fan
330 w LED ChilLED grow craft X2
clones are Purple wookies (pookies) and WiFi #43, which originally lived in 1/2 gal pots with FFOF soil, then given to me with fresh FFOF soil, same 1/2 gal pots. Ive had them since June 13th. They were in those pots for another 3 weeks I think, before potting up to their final, 2 gal cloth pot containers with FFHF soil.
Nutes:
Botanicare calmag +
Gro-Tek Silica Pro
Roots Organic Temp Tea Grow/ Bloom that I have used twice so far, resulting in a minor burn which I think is still in ints final bits.
Real Growers Recharge
GH ph +/-
Scrog Pro trellis setup.

Now, Ive been fighting heat this summer, temps usually don't go below 80 unless were running the apt AC, which has been drying the air and RH in the tent ranging anywhere from high %30's to high %40's. since then Ive gotten a small humidifier and have gotten a relatively consistent RH around %55- 65 and occasionally waking up with high RH's, to which I air out the tent and turn it lower. Also, I have read from their website for the LED's im using, state that temps around 85 allow for the best utilization of their spectrum and lights, its just very difficult to get the overall temp down consistently, and im not even at %100 on the dimmer!!I am also at the point where most of my available spots in the scrog are spoken for and thinking of switching to flower, as I am not sure about how much space I have and don't want to burn these ladies, The problem is, I think they could be a little more healthy before I do that so I can get the best flower I can for my situation.
Now since they were clones gotten from a random dispensary in Sherman oaks, I don't know the genetics or the mothers plants health, but I DO know that the purple wookies has been very responsive to everything I've been doing in a positive way, meaning my rookie mistakes of defoliating during veg to control the shape. I just can't seem to shake the leaf burns from what I believe was overfeeding and haven't given them nutes for almost 4 weeks or so, with the exception of 1 2ml calmag dose, to see if it would do anything, and the weekly feeding of the Recharge microbes. The Wifi #43 on the other hand, came to me with Variegation (Multi colored leaves ),and has just seemed very sad its entire existence, so im essentially writing that one off to poor genetics, but hopefully I'm wrong.
Both of these plants started their first 2 weeks outside and I brought them into my new tent, I have a few samples of the Dr Zymes stuff I plan on spraying them with soon to take care of any pests, haven't shown any signs of any that I have seen so far. nothing flying around in the air.

here is a pic of them from this morning:

Incessant rambling is my native language! 😆
This pattern is a bit concerning:

I don't know what it means, but I'm fairly certain it's not super desirable.... Sorry, I guess all I'm offering there is worry. 😟

Welcome to the farm!!

everything ive researched on this points to Variegation, which is the genetic mutation resulting in the lack of chlorophyll to those lighter leaves, one reason why I say that plant as a whole is a write off, bad genetics. although im sure the environment they are in isn't helping much, the higher RH % has the newer leaves mostly looking better. first time ive seen anything like this first hand, so im sticking with bad genetics lol

I had something similar develop in a plant last grow. I screwed up many things that time, so I can't be sure what caused it, but I think in my case it was related to either root-rot or insufficient oxygenation of the DWC reservoir. I would love to think it's genetics and I'm not responsible for it turning out such a sad little runt in the end. 🧐

that I cannot answer because im in soil. but everything that I looked into the multi colored leaves was genetics. this one is pretty sad looking as well. mine also has super stiff branches, very stiff. did yours have that as well?

Branches were normal. I was referring to the pinwheel shape rather than the colors.

I seem to have an issue with keeping the temp below 80º, even with the apt ac on around 75. been able to keep RH around %60-65 though. thinking of flipping to flower next weekend, also thinking of giving a minimal dose of grow nutes to withstand the stretch, or maybe just give the first bit of bloom nutes and wait till the stretch is over.

I THINK im getting OK VPD levels, my water uptake has slowed a bit and instead of watering every other day ive been watering every 3-4 days now. doing the lifting weight test. girls seem pretty healthy other then the minor burn I probably won't get rid of. Offering pics to some other experienced growers the WiFi 43 might be in need of some nutes, but im not giving anything other than the bloom nutes AFTER the stretch. otherwise the FOF/HF mix seems to be doing well with weekly Recharge watering's so at low ph levels. soil is still teetering around 7 ph. Pookies looks to be doing much much better then the wifi.

Girls are growing ok, after the last watering they have begun to get what looks to be a little burned. not sure wtf is causing this, probably fluctuations in the temp and rh. I woke up this morning and checked at lights on and The temp was 90ºf
the humidity was %90!!!!! I am no longer having the humidifier on over night, I think its been raising it too much and has been inconsistent.

Watered yesterday with some recharge, and noticed that there is severe curling on some of the already burned leaves. could this be possibly pests at all? or am I overwatering too much at one time? Ive been able to water every 2-4 days depending on weight, and even then have been using a ph/moisture meter to double check.
I set my gallon aside, ph my water, then add recharge as per instructions.
I put about 2 cups into a sprayer and spray the top layer of soil till it gets nice and moist, I do this on both so its not an over abundance of water hitting dry soil and hoping more water get to dry patches if there are any.
I have a couple sample bottles of dr zymes eliminator im ready to make and spray onto them, just haven't, I need to change my time cycle, as I have lights off around midnight. thinking of changing the cycles for both spraying purposes and running lights on at night when temps are cooler, its been way too hot with inconsistent temps for me without having to get a operate ac unit for this.

totally stumped as to why they look like they are taking. dive for the worst :/ am thinking I need to flower soon, but also that this burn will transition with the plant and destroy it.

woke up this morning to this depressing site, not sure exactly what it is. I think its heat mixed with the soil depleting nutrients, but I have no idea as this is how they turned up one morning a few days ago.there is extreme curling, from what im thinking is the heat mixed with the dryness of the ac. vpd has been all over the place, heat has been too much so far, and even with house ac on it doesn't get below mid 80's with the tent closed and ac on. I feel like im fucked and all I want to do is flower these ladies and hope they don't die :/
