Has anyone heard of vegetative cannabis chiropractics? I heard this is a widely used method from a webinar by Kyle Kushman. The guy is amazing at teaching, and I was amazed to hear his thought on it! I’ve never tried this method obviously, and would love to hear if anyone has thoughts or has tried this method during veg to increase plant strength!

This is what I saw and was thinking about doing training like this. I like the spiral idea you gave me too. I just need to do more research into it.

Thats pretty standard lst to keep plants real short. I had terrible yield with this method rather than letting them grow straight up and bend and tie down later to get branches to grow up. I just do it in the first few weeks of 12/12 now. Tons shown in my thread if you are interested.
Sweet I’ll check it out. I tried to tie one of my plants down I think they need to be a little taller. Or something it was scary to me haha. The video up there though seems real good tho

Im usually not a fan of him. But i am curious what he does to the plant right from the beginning of the vid. I suspect he calls supercropping (which he pretends he invented) the chiropractics. Just a new marketing vid. But his techniques are definitely valid.

Yeah I was looking into supercropping and found that. That’s probably like the best video I saw about it. I like to see it visually.

I've definitely done it and that is one of the best videos of him explaining it. When I'm feeling saucy and walking around someones grow to give them advice, I love to have them come close as I grab a big branch and do the twist. As it makes that loud pop noise their face drops thinking I just snapped the branch in half. Chiropractics man! lol, I have to know the person well though ;)

I usually do a 3/4 supercrop. I don't take off all of the lower side branches up to the tip, I usually leave 3 to 4 on each main branch depending on the strain. But I know it does reduce the larf from lower branches and most likely increases my colas. I don't do the chiropractics though..... unless I'm bored and its staring at me talking that plant shit.

I have some late chiropractics mid flower that ended up too heavy to lift back up. So they needed duct tape support. ;) currently 2 of the same strain but in different tents with different pollination. doing a 4 way round robin pollination M1-4xF1-4x4.

But to be fair it was thicker than a pencil and i snapped it like a celery stick making a sound Fx for a Bruce Lee Movie. Which may have been a bit much. But its fluffing up sideways. Was needed cause it was about 10" higher then rest of the plant and touching the light. Now its pretty level within 4" of all the tops. Ill take photos when lights are on tomorrow. Since i have no recent ones pre snap. the other one snapped on its own rotating it so i could trim nodes. touched side of tent caught my yoyo string and snapped. So duct tape and perked back to full standing from completely snapped.

Some times super cropping happens on its own.

He's definitely on the payroll. Smart guy, world class grower, but I take all recommendations / endorsements with a grain of salt.

Not directing this at you just my opinion on the subject of overall knocking him.

I dont really look at it as payroll or endorsement. All the gimmicky catchphrases aside. Its no different then code gurus, or writers, experts in fields. What you are getting is a recognized persons recommendations and guidance. hes providing an informative lesson

Endorsement would be chuck norris bonsai'ing a tree talking about how GH has the greatest nutes in the world, while discussing super cropping.

cannabis is an industry with many... but few faces. Everybody is selling something. They sell guidance, reassurance. Same thing THC farmer sells through all of us as the proverbial kyle kushman's.

Im not saying i disagree with peoples premise, most people at a certain level of discussion come across as shallow. As far as i know hes pushing nutes and his seeds. But lets be honest. He could push his products 1000x worse or with even less substance. Anytime someone who is on to something good. They always have 10 people that say "you should totally make your own line of XXXX fill in the blank". lets be honest we arent talking about a nobody. This guy has been on the scene writing about the scene. Partaking in the scene. Longer than your average grower who will find his information as something new.

When i look at any real cannabis marketed Company. Kyle is not them and shouldn't be classed as less than IMO for having his own offerings for his following. Which is a good respectable following he has amassed in his career. I say this as a long time reader of high times. Not just someone who liked the pictures. Some of the late 90s early 00s stuff wasn't just bought paid for articles. It was legit insight of things most of people had to struggle to find to even test.

Im sure hes had things in the past people don't agree with. We are all human. But if he wanted to sell out. I mean truly sell out hes had over 20 years to do it.

if making up names for techniques is a crime. Then im guilty as charged. Cause i have stupid names for everything i do.

I put Kyle in the class of people that have a long standing of trying to help growers be better growers. I do not fault him in any way for trying to and profit from his work. Nor would i any man who tries to make a living helping people grow cannabis. Cause again there is people helping and people there only to sell. He definitely isn't on the scene only to sell IMO. We can all think of at least 1 or 2 companies in that category." But at the end of the day he has to work with companies and talk about their products and get a paycheck. That has always been his job. Costs money to grow plants and test everyones stuff. Same thing to just discuss it. There are lots of growers even on this forum. Id say they are worth a paycheck if a company wanted their legit endorsement. Id argue they are selling themselves and their grows short if they did anything less.

Again not directing at anyone or anything. Just saying of all the people on the scene to knock or fault. I don't see him being one outright. Or not at the top of the list in the slightest for me.

I should be clear its not his info that drives me crazy.... its listening to him talk. You ever meet someone you just want to punch in the face because of how they talk?

Uts that kinda thing for me... and his miracle nutrients that was pretty much the only video I have seen of him.
