The SF1000 is definitely a big step up from my blurples, both on efficiency and spectrum. I have not gotten much use off of the dimmer because I have my lights up high, but I still don’t like the idea of having to remove my drivers and use a screwdriver to dim lights, so I am glad the dimmer is their. With one of the more powerful models I would use the dimmer more.

Can’t compare them to other products with the Samsung diodes, maybe some day.

If you were following along in the beginning, you know I prepared some bio nutrient bombs, by mixing dry amendments, worm casting, and cultured biologix in Tupperware and letting them sit. Since, the beneficial (hopefully lol) microbial hyphae and mycelia have taken off visibly.

Been waiting patiently for the plants to ask for a little nutrition before applying the bombs, but the Big Rootz soil has kept them happy so far.

I am thinking of blasting then with their first bombs this weekend, the new growth looks a like it would appreciate a little more calcium, since its a little frilly. Also the cotyledons are finally starting to fade.

Do you all think they are ready? Anyone else tried predigesting their amendments this way?
Yea, that's what I'm shooting for also, mega microbial beneficials before they even hit the soil. What exactly did you do there, and what kind of calcium are you using to enhance the blooms? Nice work, btw. I would suggest if you can get some soil from say, a part of the woods that's got good soil myco, might be worth trying also. Just need a spawning sample to get the reaction going, actually. Some molds and yeast are able to actually grow inside the root systems and establish synergistic properties, with energy and nutrient exchange.

Thanks 😊, I just hope the plants like it!

Here are the links to the products I used
https://www.amazon.com/Cultured-Biologix-Tea-Bloom-Ounce/dp/B07H6MHXQZ (free sample from the hydro shop)
and worm castings

The process was mixing these products in a Tupperware, adding a little water. Poking holes in the top and waiting about a month.

I also made some with
https://drearth.com/product/flower-girl/ instead of the bio-live
to use during flower

I like your idea of during wild microbe collections, but would be a little worried about bringing in bugs that way. I would be super down to try that for outdoor though. I know one way to do it is by filling a bamboo tube with rice and putting it out in the forest under the mulch layer. Then coming back some time later and collecting it.

My vet sold me this antibiotic spray to spray on my dog's rash and it had that same sperm smell. I was sure it had to be another bacillus subtilus product until I read the active ingredients.

Omg every year in NYC...lol 🍆🤢😄

So this reminded me a bit of a conversation I had with a gentleman 14 years my senior several years ago. I said something about

ok so to clarify, what people are smelling is the medium, or semen; lots of other biologically based mediums will have similar protein/fat/carb makeup and as such, a smell similar to semen. Semantics I guess, but it ain’t the sperm everyone is smelling. 😊

The plants got their second preventative IPM spray down today. This time with Safer Grow Mildew Cure, which is a garlic oil based concentrate.

I just spilled a ton of water on the floor kicking over that tall humidifier. Had to soak it up with 8 or so towels, butt naked since I always go in right after my shower.

Anyways here are the plants. Also the first pre flower.

Video update.
I went through today and checked the labels and reorganized the plants by strain, only to find that my one lady that showed sex was the fem seed anyway.

So the MOAB that showed sex before the rest of the plants, now looks like its starting to flower, not just pre-flowering. I wonder if its an auto.

Culled two males lemon chaze and potted up the moab and 1 female lemon chaze to five gallons. The rootballs and foliage of the males were buried into the soil for the two females.

Pic is before the males were killed.
