New to THC farmer!

Hello!
My name is Paul. I have read a lot of threads on this site and finally decided to join the community to help but also gain some more knowledge! You can never stop learning when it comes to cannabis.

When it comes down to threads and categories I am a lost soul so all help is appreciated when it comes to finding out where to post.

I am looking to speak with people who have skill in rotating grows and I need some help on how to manage rotating plants from veg to flower constantly and how to sustain mothers so I have a constant flow of harvest every 2-4weeks.

I have my whole basement for an operation. I am very passionate about this and I want this as a career. Sadly I need to start in the black market area until I have finances to gain a license through CTLS. I currently don’t have a trust fund of 1,000,000 to get me started.

I have been chewed up and spit out by LPs who didn’t give me a thought in their mind so now I want to do my own operation and have my own brand of cannabis which will go under Mad Budder.

All help is appreciated and if I in anyway can give back to the community let me know!

Hey buddy! Thank you for the reply. So I have about 4 grows under my belt and I don’t think I am doing this the right way. I think I get ahead of myself and want several different strains and high plant count lmao.

So I just cracked 4 different strains Vanilla K, LSD, Cream N Cheese 1:1, Runtz Muffin.

So when making the mothers I ran into a problem last time and I had a jungle of plants going through the roof of my lights.
I bit off more then I could chew and I had about 30 plants go crazy.

I have three tents Two 4x4 and a 7X7.
What would be the best course of action starting with the 4 mothers? Do I keep topping them to make constant clones? Do I grow the clones out for a couple weeks? Do I immediately flower after being rooted?
This is where I get a bit overwhelmed on what to do.
Appreciate your help!

Train them properly. Like a bush. Get a bunch of bamboo or plastic sticks and ziptie branches to train them. Gotta keep them separate because you will never give them anything high than week 3 veg feed and keep them at 18/6 under a t5 light. A LED will veg them but thats a strong light nowdays. Trim them everyday by taking off fan leaves only because you will take the clones from the bottom each time you clone but you wont clone off the same mother twice in a row. For clones to grow roots it will take some time 2 to 4 weeks then youll veg them for 3 weeks then flower for 8 to 10. Dont flower them until after they get about 2 to 3 feet tall in veg.

Thank you! Quick question, so my set up currently is happy frog soil as I switched from using pro mix hp and the medi one line up of green planet. I went from synthetic to organic to them loaded soil and added Gaia green dry amendments.

I have come to find that bottled nutes are good marketing techniques 5ML/L for 7 Gallon pots X 20 plants I was getting pretty upset about costs and that’s not including the additives I bought per plant.
So for the mothers should I use the pro mix HP and then grab a part A and B nutrient and keep it low on the Nitrogen?

Also with the clones I have seen people take very small cuttings but I came across a guy who sells them at 25 each and they are legit mini bonsai trees.
To get those type of cuttings do I need to keep topping andLST? It looks as if it’s a main cola branch.
Do you also keep topping the clones after they are taken from the mothers?

The bigger clones are probably bigger branches used for cloning. I wouldnt really top anything until you figure out your routine. Dont take clones unless the mother plant has been growing for atleast 90 days. My little cloner i filled up the other day

That is epic! I have seen those buckets before. Where would one obtain one in Canada hydro store I go to doesn’t have one surprisingly.

So basically keep trimming down the bottom fan leaves with a scrog method and clip off all the new shoots? Then begin the rooting process

with what you have there how long for those girls to become 2-3 feet? What is your final pot size for flower? Should I expect about an oz a clone?

I need to figure out the math on the fabric pots if I have one tent for mothers and a 4x4 dedicated for veg and a 7x7 dedicated to flower....or, do I have it back ass ward and I should be using the 7x7 for veg instead of flower?

Also...(so many questions) when it comes down to vegging I have come to the conclusion my Hydro guy was screwing me every step of the way (you need a 1000w light in a 4x4 you need a dimmable extraction fan you need all these nutes).

when vegging because a $250-$300 electric bill doesn’t make sense can I get away with using a 400w Mh?

I am looking to upgrade my lighting situation to a Samsung diode board for all three tents money permitted.

You just have to build it. Research it online and make it. I got a pump that sprays water mist water on clones 24.7. With that light until they grow roots. Well you just want to keep the mother trimmed all the way up so the good new branches get good light and growth then start your clippings at the. bottom.

I keep them in my cloner for about 2 to 3 weeks. Then transplant them into a red solo cup. When the leaves reach over the cup then ill transplant them into 3 or 5 gallon pots. Once i transplant them into pots thats when the veg state begins. About 2 to 4 weeks to get 2 or 3 feet with proper training. With the time and patience youll get anywhere from 1 ounce to 6 ounces a plant depending how you train it how you feed it and how much light and the type of light the plant gets.

Cmh is the best way to veg when you are trying to get 100 to 1000 cuttings every other week. The 1000watt light will give the plant lots of spectrum and they will before strong rooted mothers that will recover in days of cloning them. You can veg under a t5 light slow motion. No hurry.

Youll cut clones from mothers. 3 weeks to grow roots. 3 to 4 weeks to veg. 8 to 10 weeks to flower. So in week 5 of flower youll cut clones again. And that will give you some time to clean.

I have a Hawaiian Maui waui and Alaskan Purple on day 12 of flower.
For some reason the Alaskan purple always has dark green rams horn every time I flower and I don’t know why I’ll post some pictures. I had the same problem with the Vanilla K I am doing.

this has been awesome talking with you brother! My girlfriend doesn’t need to roll her eyes or say I don’t know when I am having an open conversation with questions about cannabis to myself hahaha.

If leaves are dark green and veiny then step back from the dosage of feed youre mixing.
