Gotta say man this Kashi Blend stuff from BAS is the real deal.

I've been using Grow-Kashi the whole way through both of my grows and recently gave the Kashi Blend a try - first time I ordered a bag I did a top dress before going to bed and when I woke up some animal had gotten into my garage and spread the rest of the bag of Kashi Blend all over the place like it had a fucking catnip-orgy all over my gym (my garage is my grow space and my home gym).

Strong vinegar smell to it and you can see the bio-char and Barley and other good shit in there - but the fungal growth off this stuff truly is insane. Everyone likes a nice fungal beard amirite???

Anyways, plants are starting to stink the place up nice, and I gotta say it really is a cinnamon and spice undertone right now (Bacio Gelato I think means cinnamon gelato?) and some of them are starting to push out trichs:

Oh and then I wanted y'alls opinion - I see the tips of the leaves curling and the slightly burnt tips - is that N toxicity? Too much nitrogen? Or does it look like the lights need to be turned down a little? I'll be honest I haven't really done my due diligence in measuring the light intensity at the canopy level since turning things back up and may be giving them a little too much.

I also started using light doses of fulvic/humic acid which I understand can sometimes precipitate this reaction by making nutrients more available than they were previously to the plant? I thought maybe N because it's just the tips curling down but, you know, I'm new here...

On the tips that bend down sharply, do you feel a slight hardness at the bend? That's nitrogen. Just looking at them, i would lean no nitrogen prob but that's the real test for me is by feel.

In general i think they look great and I would let them do their thing for a bit.

Thanks man! I feel the same way, I'll check the bend tonight but I think the answer is yes. Either way fresh water in the res for a few days and they'll even out. I feel like I'm starting to figure this shit out again (a little), knock on wood. They're breathing and growing again proper too, soil drainage still a little off but I'll recondition the soil next go around.

I think I'll get a quality, albeit small, harvest off these girls. Probably not enough to fill the 350g tube but we'll make some live resin and cure some buds anyhooo.

Stunted my Category 7 seedlings pretty good getting the veg area set up and dialed in too but everything is getting back into action now and the purple punch seeds popped (and one cataract kush). I'll get some pics of that in a bit

GOOD MONDAY MORNING

1610382016754

Hi guys, has anyone used "Raw Microbes" product? Either grow or bloom? I ordered a small bag of each since the price was so right but I was hoping to get some feedback (hey man, you should try the search feature) - I'll probably go search right after this and answer my own questions but I've already written all this AND taken the picture so here we are

1610382040489
1610382050070

ALSO since we're here. When seedlings are yellowing like this it's pretty much just that I'm overwatering those too, right?

1610382093674

Oh and update on the little Cat 7 Seedling that could...eventually turn into a mainline or a manifold - heres a few days ago:

1610382146416
1610382132787

And I'm going to walk outside literally this second for today's:

1610383281464
1610383293668

Looks like there's probably enough room between the 1st and 2nd nodes for me to start tying the two mains down to 90 degrees...but maybe I should wait until there's enough room between the next two nodes to do that. I def tried to tie them down way too early when I started this little project

If my seedlings look like that i give them kelp meal and turn the light down a bit, personally. But I'm not in soil at that stage so overwatering is never the problem.

Fair and to your point I may go back to the Jiffy Pellets...they seemed to be a lot more forgiving. I've never fed a seedling that small anything so I had help off on the kelp assuming the yellowing was due to me flooding too often.

It might be honestly idk. Regardless, i would get the intensity down a bit and let them sort it out. Should be fine.

Couple little pic-sies I forgot I took the other day....They didn't stretch how daddy wanted but for only a few weeks in I really do like how much sugar they're pushing out

And for those interested - here's me missing what should have been a laughably easy double at 365 - oh yea did I tell you I found out I got the Rona?

Yea I have the VID man. I'm gonna blame that for me missing the second rep. No I'm not worried about it I'm just a little dizzy and tired. Some family (cousins on my wife's side) went hiking with my daughters and thought it would be cool to let us know their Aunt, who lives next door, is positive...AFTER THE HIKE.

Thanks. You guys represent the shallowest gene pool I've ever had to wade through, my wife 100% excluded. Ok bye.
