LOL am I sensing sticker envy? Good call on the air pump. Just need to think of a way to suspend it without it vibrating against something and making a bunch of noise in the tent.
It’s ghetto but this is what I did two boxes from Amazon lol... and yea I have envy I’m gonna go steal one of my co workers Honda emblem off their grill and put it on my bucket I’ll show y’all how fast it grows that shit will do 70 days of flowering in 2 weeks lol 🙂

edit; as well are you running a sterile hydro or live organism hydro? If it’s live I would suggest buying hydroguard

Hey badchoice. Is it me or are you growing the longest leaf stems in cannabis history. Geezuz.

also, that light is too much for the seedling. i know you mentioned you brought the light higher as much as you could and you set the intensity low. However, i am just wondering, either that tent is just a reflection magnet or your intensity is not low enough. both my mars hydro lights can go low on intensity than what your light in the picture shows, but i know that both our tents are the same size and when i had a 5 gallon bucket in there than i had hight to fight against the height.

For now if the intensity is at the lowest than i would suggest to put up a full spectrum LED bulb. At the seedling stage the plant doesn't really need the intensity of your current light.

I got the PH and TDS meters in today. My PPM is 171 which seems to be in the acceptable range. I didn't realize that the PH meter was so finnicky and I don't have any distilled water to calibrate it so I'll have to buy some and try again.

I know you dont have that bent aluminum, but if you bring the intake closer to the bucket then the cold air will still get the temps down. FYI, you can buy that bent aluminum with a 4" connector at homedepot for 10 bucks

also, your ph meter needs a ph calibrator not distilled water. Depending on the one you have you either want the liquid or the amazon packages. You should also get ph storage solution for your ph probe, so it doesn't break.

You can feed an extension cable in from the cabling hole on top. I'm just saying. You just don't want the humidifier blowing at the leaves.

That bent aluminum looks handy. I'll pick that up when I can.

The instructions for calibrating the ph meter called for distilled water plus a packet that it came with. Are you saying that you can buy a solution that's already made and use it forever?

Do you store the ph probe in some kind of liquid when you're not using it? Not sure the probe is removable on the meter I got. It was pretty cheap honestly.

Im going to have 4 electric components inside the tent (raspberry pi, water pump, humidifier and air pump) so I got a 4 outlet power bar that comes from the top of the tent.

there are a different kind of ph meters. do you have a link. If its the powder calibration ph than yes you do need distilled water.
You dont have to take the probe out. Just put some storage solution inside the cap. I have a sponge in the cap and i make the sponge wet with the storage solution.

You running live organism or sterile hyrdo? Because some of those those things are not needed
Edit; if you running live like my self you can change the outflow and I take to help with a cross flow air flow pattern for better CO2 and not having to worry about keep a total sterile clean environment

After doing some quick reading it looks like I'm currently running sterile but live sounds more desirable. Would this effect the 3 part nutrition solution I bought or the 2 part Z9 enzymes? Or would I simply be adding another product?

Here's what I bought:

Really feels like the plant's growth has stunted. I'm picking up some distilled water for the res and to calibrate my PH sensor. Hopefully it has stunted because it's focusing on recovering from the light burn, which has improved a lot since I covered the light with cheese cloth.

@TheBadChoice Do you think this will work for bacteria? Also noting that I bought some Z9 enzymes too. Hopefully they don't conflict.

I will be fair I’m not sure I’ve never used that, @Aqua Man would most likely know best with that

No, I'd just get southern ag or hydroguard (not from amazon, fuckers sell expired bottles). you're looking for bacillus Amyloliquefaciens. i wouldn't trust a general pond treatment as it may have other undesirables.

Spot on as always but the Amazon comment is only half true, that photo is who I buy my hydrogaurd from and always had a good Julian date

Good lookin out. I bought mine from i don't recall what seller, but the bottle was expired when it hit my doorstep (didn't realize until Aqua Man educated me). Expired hydroguard = some serious pH fuckery

Bad news fellas...Looks like my stunted growth was due to root rot... The main root looked shorter today so I thought I'd see how it felt and it basically dissolved in my hands. Hydroguard is on the way. The new roots look fine but the main/original root is totally rotted. I hope it can recover. Must have been the light exposure in the res.
