Upgrading Lights, Pointless to Keep Blurple?

As a beginner to LED's and being on a budget, I ended up with three BESTVA 1000W LED's for my 5x5. Not ideal, but they worked ok. I've grabbed one Mars Hydro TSL2000 and I'm planning on grabbing another one today. Is that going to be sufficient light for my 5x5x7 or would it be better to keep one blurple? I was thinking of hanging TSL on the left, Blurple in the middle and TSL on the right. Is that overkill?

I would run the 2 mars 2000s and 2 of the bestvas. That would put you at about 32 watts a foot. Right where you want to be

Thanks! I'm still learning about w per foot. When I ran the Bestva's alone, I had both veg and bloom switches on the whole time, should I still do that while running the two Mars Hydros? Or just the veg switch during veg?

Hmmm, you would probably do fine in veg with the 2 mars. Or you could do veg only on the bestvas if you want more blue or full on if you want max photons.

Gotcha. I like the idea of running the two Mars for veg then adding the Bestvas for Flowering, probably just putting them on full blast. Thanks again!

Nice set up! I think I’m going to grow 1 big plant next using the LST method. Not too much room in a 3x3 tent...

TSL2000 number two is on the way. Going to run two of those for veg in the 5x5, then add the blurples when I flip to flower.

Or you could do 4 with half the veg time and harvest the same amount. Or better yet 16 clones with no veg time.

I'm doing it more for the watts and light penetration. With the two TSL 2000's, I can comfortably veg, then I'll up the power for flowering. Maybe I'll try the blurples with the TSL's for veg on my second run and see if there's a difference.

So much respect for the mars and spider.
But can I suggest the viperspetra pro series full spectrum.

i use two 1000w in my bloom tent and two 600w in my veg.

plants have been humming

I have 4 right now in 5 gallon pots. Just hard to manage the back 2 plants. Haha I’m debating on getting another tent going just for veg, kinda a hobby now with nothing open around me.

highly suggest the second tent. I roll with a 4x4 bloom, 2x4 veg and 2x3 clone / seedling propagation chamber.
