Finally made a bit of hashish

hash collection is small now, just barely hanging on! haha ya i’ll go get it. it’s hash mostly from different parts of the world but i couldn’t tell you what’s what now., maybe the red piece.
that might of been a sale price on the table, probably $20-30 more regular price. i need one more.
i’m older just turned 54 a week ago, i’ve looked into all that new stuff, i’ve thought about a bunch of times, but i don’t see it creating anything better than the hash and oil i make for like dirt cheap, it just seems like throwing a lot of money at something that’s just not worth it, including the equipment you use to smoke it..
but with that being said i’ve never really tried it, once or twice shatter in a vaporizer? didn’t do much to me considering the price of the shatter.
i feel once most of the world has legalized it, the hash making countries will increase their production and start to export around, that will become the connoisseur hashish! not all this stuff being made now.

my favourite hash, not the highest i’ve been but my god the taste blew my mind! was
super red lebanese, soft sticky red hash, had to be late 80’s, i actually still have a small piece in my collection..
though the highest i’ve been with smoking the least amount, was like 6 bottle tokes of jamaican gum the very first time we got it, as after that every shipment was lower quality, it was never the same. but fuck possibly one of the times i was at my highest stone.

A method Breeder Steve uses for cleaning trichs on screens like that is he takes a vacuum cleaner under the bottom screen to suck any contaminants through. Says it works amazingly well and changed how he makes hash. All he does is dry sift now and cleans it wirh a vacuum on the screen.

No need to reply like im insane. They carry all that stuff, and some people are wealthy and can afford it. If i could afford to buy slabs from cheeba i would, i love traditional import hash and have no idea where else to get it.
Anyway, awesome hash collection. I can literally taste those photos... God i miss afghan hash. I just dont see it in BC, itall bubblehash here. Used to get it from Montreal when i lived on the East coast.

I really like good fresh pressed rosin buutttt I’d take good over over it any day if I could make it. One we will try

I built built a tumbler out of odd bits of wood and wire, the idea was to knock off most of the trykes, what came out of the tumbling was sieved to remove bigger lumps, and then sieved again to remove the finer particles with ever finer meshs.

I love the Hashish book! Glad to see people still carrying on the tradition. Hash is an artform of its own. I grew up in Canada and used to have a great connection where I could choose from 4 different types of hash every time I went to buy some. I would smoke mostly hash and the different varieties were unbelievable, the colors, the flavors, second to none. Someone mentioned red lebanese hash which I have not smoked but we once got a bubble hash from a guy who had MS who lived in the mountains. He had to hand stir his bubble hash cause he couldn't hold a mixer with his hands. This bubble hash was literally red on the outside and white on the inside! Can't wait to start making some hash again.

i make hash if you need any info.. though i use the dry sifting method..

Yea, I agree it could be better. Thanks for the info. I think it's probably the fact it was mostly heavily laden with seeds and I might have also been a little heavy handed on the fert for some of those plants, trying to get nice fat, viable seeds back.... It taste alright, but the potency is still not quite what I would like, or notice with my unseeded or lightly seeded plants.....

Most of these plants produced about 2 grams of seeds for each gram of actual cannabis, so very heavily laden stuff.
