After months of planning, I am just about ready to start my micro grow.

The box is 10"x10"x10" with a diy light using 3000k and 4000k lm301b, blue LEDs, IR and UV. It has 2 25mm (0.51 cfm) fans for intake and exhaust. It has the ability to run at up to 100w with the fans but it has a dimmer for the lights (separate from the fans) so I will be keeping it much lower than that. It also has a switch.
I will be making my own fabric pot that is 9"x9"x2.5" and filling it with coco. I am using the GH trio for nutrients.

The box is so small that I am not worrying about rh and temps. They would be too difficult to regulate. The exhaust fan is right next to the light which is on a therma pad to prevent overheating.

For my first grow in the box, the strain will be berry bomb. I've grown it before and it survived a lot so I thought it would be perfect for this.

To make this work, I will need to do some heavy, HEAVY, training, topping and ScrOGing. I will be starting it off in 16.5/7.5 (roughly since I have to manually turn on and off the lights so I will forget sometimes) to not stress it out too much but prevent it from growing too much too. I will then flip as soon as I can and hope for the best.

I have no expectations.

Check out BigCubes micro grow he built one similar and grew a beaut. I've like the Bomb seeds I've grown out, I just picked up some Bubble Bombbut I have no room to start them yet. Hopefully I'll get them soaking in March sometime. Gl

I guess we'll find out.
Looking at your pics I see the ballast / driver inside. It's going to put out a lot off heat isn't it? could it not be moved to the back outside?. I'm just thinking you need the air space and don't need the heat it will generate with the lights providing enough heat in such a tight space for your plants. The box won't be outside will it? You already have indoor heat. You'll need a lot of air movement & good exhaust.

Yeah, I was thinking about having it outside but I wanted to keep the box under the 10x10x10 size limit. I really don't think it'll be an issue since I'm only going to be running it at 30% and it's already a low wattage driver. But again, I guess we'll find out. I do still have the ability to move it outside the box if I really wanted to but only as a last resort.

I accidentally left it at full power but even at that, the temperature was only 30c (not ideal for growing but I would never grow under that). I just turned it down to see the difference.
