Supplements for GH, AN, UC? Do you like them?

Hey Guys, First post! I was just wondering what your take was on the additives that all these different companies offer? Do you think they are worth it? Is there a pay off too having them in the res with the base nutrients? The only solo run I did, I only used A/B (flora Duo) and UC roots. I am doing a RDWC with RO water.

So I will list what I bought, and the reasons why. Let me know if you think I am totally lost, or if I am on the right track?

Diamond Nectar for the humic acids in order for the plant to uptake as much nutes as possible.

CaliMagic for the magnesium, because I have read that when you are running RO you need extra Mag.

Rhino skin by Advanced Nutrients (couldn’t find aromor si), because I read that silica is a must have for LST, which I plan on trying.

Florablend, because I had a friend that used seaweed and his flowers were always bomb.

UC Roots to prevent mineral build up/ nute lock out.

IDK guys, I’m trying to learn but damn there is so much info out there about everything. Lol anyway

Okay I am a total newb are you pulling my chain? Or can you grow from a simple salt nutrient? Do you mean just the base nutrients?

I'm running a diy RDWC system. Was using Masterblend (switched to Jack's, due to supply issue), calcium nitrate, epsom salt, Bloom city silica boost and well water(140-150ppm). Bought in bulk since I have a small farm. But still by far some of the best I've grow, tried some of the boosters from various companies, not much difference for price really. I use Root organics for soil grows also but only base nutrients, never found much use for all the hype.

Like many say on here just Keep It Simple. There are some threads with info on plant nutrient needs and will help a lot with understanding NEEDED nutrient profiles. Best of luck with the grows!!

Nice I will do some thread exploring lol. I appreciate the insight, I have only recently heard of Jacks and so far it has been very positive reviews. Well I guess since I already ordered them I will keep them in the mix until they are used up an then I might switch to Jacks too eventually.
