With watering I found The weight of the pot should be really really light, and even some light droop on the bottom leaves, sometimes I’ve waited till full droop. I Wasn't sure in the morning and by evening it was to long, but it takes a day for it to bounce back. Like if it feels like the pot is empty... I also noticed the cloth pots trap the small particles than normally flush out, and similar plants in the same soil gave off completely different ph and ec readings. The cloth pots reading higher ec and lower ph. Just something to consider, Sorry for rambling on Your thread 😬

No sorry needed man, any info helps. Honestly I expected to do this to the 7 gal plastic pot before cloth pot. And I'm pretty sure the problematic plant will be fine. I'll let her relax and hopefully start getting some more growth. Thanks for the info!

Find mimedgrower’s perpetual cycle thread here, most what I learned I got from there, I tweak a little here or there, cause my space and setup is different. I also experiment a lot, making things over complicated, and don’t always have good results. I learned a lot from that as well, but he’s got the basics laid out easy to understand, years of experience, and has lots of progressive pictures of the cycles, and problems being worked through and corrected.

Small plant in big pot makes watering tough. But you need to moisten the entire pot. Roots won't grow into dry soil and where the moist and dry soil meet nutrients can be very concentrated and that causes issues.

Make sure your watering evenly. In a big pot wetting the media 24 hr before transplanting helps reduce the over watering. In organic you don't want runoff but you need to get all the media moist first then keep it in a proper moisture range.

Anytime plant is stress reduce the light intensity until you have things corrected.

You definitely don't need 1/2 strength nutes and I doubt even 1/4.

Looks like keep the middle to wet and the rest to dry. Everytime you water the soil will release more nutes so I would hold off until the media is starting to get depleted.

So my suggestion:

Make sure your pots are up off the floor temps 75-80f humidity 50-65%

Reduce the lighting a bit and ensure you wet the entire media.

They will droop for a few hrs to a few days depending on the drainage and how fast they reduce the media back to a more friendly moisture level for oxygen exchange.

That's important because that's what overwatering actually is... oxygen deficiency.

Thanks! They don't seem to be having any problems at the moment, but thanks for the info on wetting all the soil! Gotta run into work this morning, but will get soil wet and see what happens.

Also it looks like you maybe pulled on the first plant and pulled the stem horizontal with the soil while lsting You probably have some issues from that stress.

Yeah, it doesn’t look bad just keep an eye on it. I had a plant that I actually did pull it over too much, and it grew but had root issues and I ended up culling it. Try your best not to water right around them stem too much
