Hey farmer fam I got my first indoor grow going and will be doing a grow diary once I have my space fully set up. I just want to make sure my beauties are doing good. I’m new to indoor cultivation but feel my seedlings are right on track to start veg at day 21. Any and all input is appreciated!

Strains:
Ayahuasca purple
LSD
Blue hash
Blue OG
Amnesia haze
Ghost train haze

Wow those are looking good! This is my first grow and I had some issues with first under watering and then I overwatered once as well. How long have you been at it? Growth really seemed to pick up the last couple days so hopefully things will pick up soon. So I believe I’ll be alright now as long as I get my watering dialed in. Was hoping to starting vegging in a week. When do start your veg? 2 weeks from seed or 3?

You need light.

I had a similar issue on my first grow the past couple days. They stopped stretching as much once they appeared to get as close to the light they wanted to be, my propagation kit as a fixed height, close, but apparently not close enough but now the leaves are starting to develop. So im guessing its about what its using its available energy to do. If you have the light close enough, thus providing 'enough' light intensity, the plant wont stretch as much and divert that energy to leaf development because it no longer needs to stretch to reach the right height.

You’re doing fine, more light gives more growth. Next time leave some room in the cup for more soil in case they stretch again. Don’t let any light on the roots in those clear cups to prevent algae.
Thanks for the reassurance the first response had me nervous. I’ve Increased light distance (about 14-15 inch) and I’m waiting on my kingbrite 240w qb. I also slightly underwatered at first and then slightly overwatered but I think I have the watering dialed in now and the growth really seemed to accelerate even tho they may not be the best for 14 days old. I expect the next few days growth is gonna vigorous and things will catch back up.

Don’t increase distance to address stretching. Go the other direction. Bury those up to the cotes when you transplant.

One more thing I would like to add is I had only the veg switch on at first and they stretched. I flipped to full spectrum and adjusted the height so this next week will be optimal conditions. My cheap BEELUX 1000 led from Amazon is not the best so only using the veg switch at first really affected things but I feel I’m back on track.

I topped off the containers, flipped from veg to full spectrum (cheap Amazon led) and increased the distance by 6 inches and have continued to let the plants grow into the light which is now at 15-16in. Not light burn or stress exhibited so I think I’m good.

Your light that’s coming will solve all that.

From what I’ve read the seedling stage is 2-3 weeks and then the vegetative stage starts. It’s just a way to break up the days/weeks. After 21 days I’ll start week 1 of veg in my journal.

My agg teacher said veg stars day 1. I usually flip to flower by day 21.

Wow 21 days from seed? I assume you’re doing a SOG style grow? Btw of course I know they are vegging since day one but it’s a way to break up the days/weeks when growing photos. If I run autos I’ll only look at how many days from seed but for photo periods I’m gonna play around with when I record the times for vegging.

I’m growing in a 2 by 8ft 6in closet space. Going to run 6 plants in that space. From what I’ve read I’m right there at the edge In terms of enough grow space for all 6 plants. I wanted to scrog heavily but now that I have 6 I may not scrog as much or veg as long to make sure I can fill the space without overcrowding the area.

This is my First Grow too. That is why I wanted to comment here.

I am going to start Veggin' on Saturday, which will be around Day 18 for my ladies. Saturday is when I transplant them.

I was going to Veg a little sooner and transplant, but I did a test (I have 1 extra plant that I am doing little experiments with), and the roots were no where close to ready yet. That is why I decided to extend the Seedling stage for another week.

What do you mean by start vegging? My plants start vegatative growth on day 1. Are you saying you want to start feeding veg nutes on day 18?
