Hi, everybody!
Ive been reading the forums since I started cultivating 10 weeks ago, so I thought it would be a good idea to jump in.
I have a 2x2 indoor tent with 4 dinafem autos. Purple Haze and Moby Dick.

Everything has been by the book, air circulation, temperature, humidity, feeding, 18/6 light schedule and so on.
everything went smoothly until stretching. I had problem of tall seedling looking for light very early on but corrected it sucessfuly, sadly I did not trained my plants and they reached 60 inches tall outgrowing my tent, tried bending them a bit until during night they got burnt badly from the lights.

I think one of the problems I had were that cheap 200w cob led I was using. Plants got pistils but were not making buds.
after the burn I had to try to save them and topped them (I know it was not a good idea but a last resource measure.)

I upgraded the lights to a quantum board and everything looks much better now in the tent, plants look super healthy and green BUT...
I have read somewhere on the net that if the plants in the nodes instead of pistils grow a couple spikes, then plants will never flower.
I’m seeing those spikes now.

I think its time to assume the defeat and start over again, this time with the right lights and training. But I wanted to hear from the experts on the forum and learn from this experience As I put a lot of effort taking care of them.

If you can put some pictures up. Personally I would let them keep going unless they hermi on you. What have you got to lose in just letting them do their thing and finish now that you are satisfied with the grow environment?

I'm not sure what you mean by spikes but maybe you're talking about stipules. If so, they are on all plants. Either post a pic of what you're talking about or look up what stipules are.

You are right freeze, I will wait a couple weeks and see if they finally bloom, after all valuable lessons are learned from this kind of situations .
