Hello everyone,

I really appreciate any help that you guys will be able to provide. I work for a company who lost the grower at a location that needed plants in their for compliance. I am now in charge of the grow, did one cycle with the previous grower and have a few notes from him but not much. I am being advised by someone whose in charge of a facility using grodan cubes, but I am working with the left over products here(707 soil, 10gal pots, 2 plants per pot, various nutrients), and have a small 9x5 tent running 16 plants. The previous run we did in another room was 120 plants and plagued with problems. I work at the grodan location, and have experience with their constant use of nutrients, when we did the run here we were using 1.2-1.8g per gallon JR peters Base and cano3, cal mag, ro. We did maybe one or two compost teas with a big list of ingredients I have, and foliar up until flower 21. With this, we had a room that looked like their was a snowdrift in there, from all the PM.

With this new grow, and having little information on what nutes, ratios, and when to feed, I am hoping to be able to scrub you guys for some info, because from higher on up, I'm just being told to feed RO and hygeia until they look like they need more, and figure it out then. Which makes me nervous, cause I'm the only cultivator and this location, and not very confident.

Here's a rundown of some info

1. Are you growing from seed or clones? 4 week veg clones
2. How old are your plants? flipped to flower today (day 1)
3. How tall are your plants? 10 12 inches, trellised to even canopy
4. What size containers are they planted in? 10 gallons, 2 plants per pot
5. What is your soil mix? RO707
6. How often do you water and what type of water do you use? 3-4 day dry down right now, watering RO and 1ml hygeia
7. What is the pH of your water? 5.8
8. What kind of fertilizer do you use and what is its NPK ratio? have access to various nutes, no plan of action yet
9. Do you foliar feed or spray your plants with anything? will foliar day 7,14,21 with kelp, humic, hygeia, liquid karma, silica, regalia, calmag
10. What kind of lights do you use and how many watts combined? (HPS, MH, fluorescent, halogen, incandescent "plant lights") 2 Grower Choice Roi-E680
11. How close are your lights to the plants? 8ft tent with lights all the way up
12. What size is your grow space in square feet? 9x5x8
13. What is the temperature and humidity in your grow space? just read with lights on, 77f 62h
14. What is the pH of the soil? haven't tested runoff yet, will do tomorrow, or will do a soil sample
15. Have you noticed any insect activity in your grow space? none yet
16. How much experience do you have growing? one bad run halfway alone, and currently working in a large facility, so more knowledge than the average joe, less than a pro.

MY QUESTIONS
Someone's telling me i need to add great white every other week or the soil will die, this true?
Do I need cal mag immediately?
Anyone have a nutrient regiment they use for 707?
Do I really not need nutrients?
Do you have any tips for me?

I appreciate any and all feedback!

Hey, so I looked up 707 and it is a peat and coco based soilless media, that type of media usually needs nutrients within the first week or 2 of veg, maybe sooner sometimes. I looked up Hygeia nutrients, but not sure exactly what you are using. One ml per gallon seems like it isn't enough, my first guess would be to start giving them a light-moderate nutrient solution, especially since they are in the first week of flower now.

I don't really see anything wrong with the info you gave, except to start giving them nutrients.

1 question though, why put 2 plants in 1 ten gallon pot? instead of each plant in 1 5 gallon pot? Just curious.

Hygeia just a wetting agent, I was told to just use that to get the water to stay around longer. And as to the pots, cause that's what I was told to use up. Haha

Also what constitutes a light to moderate mix, like what NPK am I looking at?

I would agree. 2 clones in 10gal pots flipped quick. All kinds of problems with wet dry cycles. If the previous lead grower was having problems, don’t emulate.
Also, referring to your commercial grow. Im not sure your tent can
be classified as such. 😂✌️

That makes sense, those managers do anything to cut costs, reminds me of when I worked for other people.

A light to moderate mix for first week of flower IMO would be 400-800 ppm, 0.8-1.6 EC. I don't know what you have on hand, but I would use a normal veg formula for the first few weeks of flower. Good luck!

Wow this stuff really happens in this industry? You’ve been givin the keys to the castle and your on a weed forum asking how to pull this off. Must be stressful my little 5 plant grow has my anxiety up at times being my first time I can’t imagine being in your shoes. Good luck and if your posting in this thread I’ll Forsure be watching how this plays out. Show us some pics of the operation. A lot of knowledgeable ppl here but you don’t see a post like this everyday on a forum. 🤯

It is a grow, in a commercial facility, producing cannabis products for the public. So yes, it is a commercial grow. Regardless of its size.

I've been given the keys to a small fief. I was also moved into a position of warehouse coordinator, keeping this tent alive is for license compliance, not to put out any weight, but I still don't want them to underperform. I do many other things for this company other than growing, so yeah, I'm a bit stressed adding this to my list of responsibilities.

Wow that's crazy if you have no idea on growing and why did other grower leave for to 2 rooms of 9 plants one blooms at night and one blooms in day 👻🚂🎱
