The runoff ppm of the plant in flower was 4000. I took it to the shower and flushed it till the ppm coming out was 250 then fed it again at 850 ppm, now the runoff is 375 ppm.

I'm sure the plant wont like this, but I figure 4000 ppm was probably a bad thing to let go later into flower and would probably do better in the long run.

I'm not sure if that was the correct thing to do, but some of the newer leaves were showing curling as well and figured it was build up from all the miracle grow I gave it before I swapped, it was like 28-12-16 I believe.
I called it brother.

You are gonna love that plant to death. I'm not ragging on ya or poking fun.

Slow down and enjoy it... these plants take time and patience. They thrive in stability and die in chaos.

In soil with organics ppm is meaninglessness. You are going to see deficiencies now. Almost certainly killed the beneficial microbes and will take a week or 2 to come around from that.

I would suggest asking before doing as there is a ton of things that can be overwhelming to a new grower and you don't know what you don't know.

On the plus side it's knowledge gained... even if it's the hard way. I'm not one to judge because I too learn the hard way.

I am very much a hands on learner, but yeah afterwards I was like I probably should have looked into this a bit more first.

I will say this plant isn't using the same ffof, its some crap soil i got outside that's been sitting for years and been used through 3 or 4 grows now and highly experimented with haha. I've ran diluted peroxide, lots of molasses, and a fuck ton of miracle grow through it.

I don't know if it matters tho, just wanted to clear up its not the same soil with the organic additives.

Oooof no molasses in your soil.

In that case you did the right thing.

Yup I'm updating a lot, sorry for the spam haha.

Checked on my plant thats 11 days into flower this morning and it has exploded in growth since I did the flush. Even the buds seem to have got a bit of a jump. Not sure if its coincidence or just kind of that time, but I thought the stretch was over since it slowed way down.

Topped small plants a second time.

Got some close ups of the leaves with a cheap microscope I got for trichomes. Not sure if there is anything wrong with them, I mainly just wanted to see what they look like and figured I'd post it.

Very nice. I like the way you prune these. You get the result I want but I am usually to lazy to work for :)
Thanks! I just started practicing mainlining on the big one, if you look closely at the base you can see it didn't go to well the first top haha. I think that was mainly due to how brittle the stems are without silica, might be wrong, but the two small ones I did used silica on and they are basically rubber bands with a pretty sturdy knuckle so I can shape them any way I want.

Still unsure if its really worth the time and effort as of now. Guess the yield will be a bit of an indicator as I was getting about an ounce and a half per plant previously. I'm sure a lot has to play in that though.

Small plants were light, so I gave em a half gallon each with just silica.

A couple of leaves have curled up a little bit, got a pic posted to show the worst one. Said it could be heat when I googled it, but the temps are at the most 80 and there isn't any heat reaching from the light enough to think that's what's causing it..so idk.

Well since I cant raise the light any more i put them back on a shorter pots to bring the distance back further just in case.

Quickly running out of room in here, may have to flower sooner than I would like.

Is there anyway to run a loop with the supports of the light through your anchor point for the light and clip the straps back onto themselves at the light? Should get you several inches if you can

I could try that, I was thinking about just moving it out of the closet for the extra space till the one in flower is finished. Just need to find a good location. In hindsight I should have just waited to start these after the other one finished up haha.

What fun is waiting though? Plus it gives you more time to play with them

A stem broke on me while I was trying to train and get things in order for the next top, hanging on by some threads. I taped it back together with some duct tape, but idk if it'll even help haha. Would show pictures, but I taped it immediately.

Happened at the very top, so its not a huge deal if its gone.

Its weird cause these stems went from rubber bands to solid sticks now. Guess I cant do a whole lot with them now.

That's a mistake there adding stuff at wrong times silica will stunt them at that stage and take alot of time to grow back as it shortens the inter nodes once it grows more it will stretch and you will have close space branches then big gaps in branches do u know why u use silica read what nutes do and if they are good to combine as well I only start using silica just before bud so the bud inter nodes are short and thick and what it does is turn soft wood stems into hard wood stem plus other benefits heat stress and micro life 👻🚂💯👍4 weeks flower today
