Hey everyone ,so I started growing back in October 2020 and my first set of plants didnt make it because of equipment failer . I started my second round in February. I have my tent at 52 % H and 85 ° T. I am using Fox Farms soil and Nutrients. 4x4 tent with 650w LED light, Cloudline exhaust fan. I have an oscillating fan. My Ph was high at first and I have it at about 6.5 as of now. My plants dont seem to be doing good, the leaves are turning brown and falling off. Only around the bottom new and old leaves . I changed my water and make sure the tent stays within T and H at all times. What could be the cause of this? I've looked into a few things and cant put my finger on it. Any help would be appreciated thanks

usually burnt leaf edges, clawing yellowing is from watering too frequently.
probably time for a transplant. tip one upside down if dry and take a look at the roots? send a photo?

Not enough light and too much water. Do you have any drainage in the bottom?

I thought over watering ,so i didnt water for 3 days and when I checked 2 of my bigger plants leaves were all dropped down. Almost All of them. So i did a lite water and within an hour or 2 they were perked back up. I'm planning on switching souls this weekend and transplanting them to alittle bigger pots. I will post photos of roots when I do it thanks for the response

ok could be the opposite the roots are sucking it dry quickly.
if you have someone there have them take the photo as you pull the pot off than put it back, weren’t hurt her,

So you want to check out proper temp and humidity levels, looking into VPD is a good place to start. If it's in veg, you want your humidity to be higher if your temp is that high. Old school rule of them for veg is 65% at 80° plus. VPD is much more accurate way of matching the environment to the respiration of the plant. If it's too hot, they drink too fast and you can burOld school rule of them for veg is 65% at 80° plus. VPD is much more accurate way of matching the environment to the needs of the plant. If you're only able to use air conditioning or ventilation to get the temp down, then you need to raise the humidity by adding a humidifier. For a beginner VPD can be a little bit intimidating until you learn it, but it is a great place to start to know the ranges that your plant can flourish at

I’m on my first indoor grow and switched to using co2. My temps are high and top out at 93. I’m about to get off work and dive head first into VPD and leaf surface temps since I have my laser thermometer gun waiting for me at my house. They have been thriving but I still wanna dial it in more if I can.

I have holes drilled out but the pots are on the tent floor. I'm making alittle shelve to elevate them acouple inches off the ground this weekend . The light I have is 600watt. I believe you only need 450watt for a 4x4 tent . None of the top leaves are showing signs of problems

I will set my humidity higher . My T is 85° and H 55. I do have a humidifier and dehumidifer with ventilation fans . So i can keep my T and H pretty set on where I want. So is 87° 65 good?

You have poor root development there and I would say almost 99% from underwatering. Reason I say this is the root mass should under proper conditions be largest at the bottom of the pots in most cases. This is for a few reasons I won't get into.

IME when you see a K deficiency due to watering its usually under watered. The leaves and stems will droop and the plant will perk up quickly after watering. If it's a chronic problem as yours is you will see a K deficiency poor root development and stunted growth.

If it's over watering you will see swollen leaves that droop and firm stems. If chronic usually you see nitrogen, magnesium, calcium or micros first.

Ok I'll add more water when feeding and see If I get different results. I'm also swapping out to new pots ,alittle bigger and changing soil. Is that ok at this stage or should I leave it?

How much water at a time are you giving them and how often?

Media?

Pot size?

Are you getting runoff each time?

I'm using organic humus with manure and fox farms soil in acouple . Im giving the big ones 48 oz of straight water and getting some run off. And then when I feed with Nutrient I use about 32 oz and smaller plants get about 32 oz each time

As long as your getting the entire media saturated. Not sure they need added nutrients.
