I think its just a TOP of another plant, but im running 12/12 off the batch of seeds i get, see the actual size, it was bred with same plant the male was like almost 2 feet tall so im betting this is a top

Seeds should be done in like 3 weeks maybe, i picked 1 off the plant it was the right size but still green so they should harden up by the end of the month, right?

No don't go to 24 hours light at 5 weeks in and as small as that is, In my opinion its not worth it, but for next time around wait about 5-7 days after pollination and then go 18-6 if your making seed only

the other question I'd have is you say your making your own strain but you have No idea what you have for a plant???

Does the seed grow better in veg?

what are you doing with the seeds for yourself or selling them ? why you making seeds if you don't even know what the strain is or anything about the plant. safe to say nothing was even stress tested then, even if your giving the seeds out i'd say that is sketchy at best., do you even know where the plant came from lol.

If your going to grow those yourself that’s one thing but like mentioned even giving them away is sketchy at best! Your best bet is first do some research on breeding there’s loads on info right here on the farm just look around a bit. And second save your pennies and start with quality known genetics . F-1’s aren’t for everyone. Lol

Look it up it happens sometimes theres plants that have 1 name and not the other, just need the finished product to name it

I knew exactly how and when to pollenate them, second week flower so theres enough pistils to catch the pollen, cuz they take about 6 to 8 weeks to fully develop i think i read, im on week5 of flowering, seeds everwhere, looking good so far

i dont think they are talking about the rights to name or anything... i think they mean things like do you know if it is prone to hermie? is it stable or does it have some undesirable genetics that creep up every so many, or any number of reasons that its genes dont deserve to be propagated and spread. it actually hurts the industry and the art.

its like you CAN breed your mean ugly sickly dog to a wolf... but why would you? you know nothing about your plants genes, its tendencies to get disease or mold, its chance of foxtailing or any number of things... so why breed it? grow it a few times, see if it is even something you want to breed.

big is the only adjective you use to describe the male... is it good smoke? are its genes worth passing along? is there a trait in that strain you are wanting to pass to the other strain?

getting seeds so you dont have to buy them is a good thing, but you might want to do a bit more investigating to get a good strain worth your effort.

Leave it 12-12 or even 11-13. My seeds usually take 5-6 weeks to finish. Plant 10 and if all the females are good, they probably all are.
