Does anyone know any electronic manufactuers? I have some specs I want built.

Why buy the components and make them? Some very knowledgeable ppl here that could help if you need...
I have not designed a circuit in 30 years. I basically know what I need, I just don't have the room to do electronic building anymore.
We live in a 3 room apartment. The tent is shoehorned between the two dogs.

A couple of these bad boys do the trick in first few weeks
Great for clones too. My clones never see LED light Till they are quite large. Then I repot and crowd them under one 100w LED. Once they get the second repotting to 1 gal then the second LED is needed.

Amazes me all the pictures posted of mostly empty grow tents with a few small plants under huge LED lights.. I don't grow that way I'm too cheap when it comes to the electric bill.

I'm betting will cost an arm and a leg to have someone do it for ya...

What ya looking to do?

I want to make a 'net' of led emitters of the different spectra at each node of the net. Have you ever seen the Christmas light nets? Something like that.
Except it would have pots to adjust the ratios of each spectra. Green, White, Red, Far Red, UVB. The net hangs on the wall and is at a lower intensity but more emitters scattered over a larger area to reduce the intensity requirement.

I use a 6000k 20w led for my clones or a florescent tube I think is 5k. Last grow I did seed under a 3000k led and yeah they stretch a bit but I also added some triacantonal.... lol that was interesting to say the least.

4000-6000k color is much easier to limit the stretch. But you can always just burn them a bit deeper. I honestly have no issue if my seedlings stretch on me it doesn't hurt anything.

I think ppl get a little to caught up in it but yes it's nice not to have bean poles.

Just get RGB side emitting fiberoptics.

If you have clear netting you can use a clear glue stick and put the RBG diode on and hot glue it will act similar and even more so if you rough it up a bit. The problem is the intensity will be nowhere near impactful.

The whole reason for making it a net is so that the intensity is not as important. Each area of the plant will have emitters at it's level. The extreme intensity won't be required.
It should probably use about a 1/4 less electric for better results.
And being able to alter the ratios will give even more control to the grower.

No need to be using 100+ watts for clones or young plants. I figured that 1 out when my seedlings grew better under 1 24wat cfl6400k then a 85 wat led at first. Of course I like my mars hydro for down the line. But way cheaper when it comes down to those kwh on that bill for better results early on. This is my opinion and experience

Yeah clones need only enough light not to flower... any more will actually slow the rooting and cause yellowing. Once they have roots then you can start giving them intensity to grow.

We need A/C because of the insane humidity here, but I hate to run it. $$$$$$$
The grow costs almost as much but it gets priority.

But my ac keeps the humidity in check for the most part. Still creeps up past 60% at night but I will get handle on that.

It's a arcticking 12000btu window ac in my bedroom. It cools my whole apartment but runs on a crazy wattage of 3000+ I'm gonna get a smaller one probably.
