Also any plant has it's specific needs and this is because of variety of strain, pot, soil, climate, etc. As a newbie I was thinking to water every 2 to 3 days but I realized that the only thing I did was overwatering. You see, many soils-just as mine- are designed to hold the moisture longer so maybe you have to consider this fact too.Dont be afraid to leave it as much as it's necessary to dry.As I said, i was watering too often but when I realized that was wrong, I changed to every 7 to 8 days and everything was fine . Now my plant is bigger and stronger so I water about every 5 days, depends on weather cause I grow outdoors. As Beach_Bum said, you have to learn your plant and see when is thirsty. It is not something extreme difficult. I am new grower too and I tell you that I learned quick how to do it right. If I can, you can as well!

You got it! Every plant has their own personality. For example my red runtz drinks water like she just ran the boston marathon on a 90° day. She needs a drink after 48hrs. My others can go 4-5 days and still don't absolutely need it. It also depends on type of pot, air flow, and environmental conditions but for most part I could probably get away with watering once a week ( a good soaking) with my sweat helmet. Although I try to keep it around 4 maybe 3 or maybe 5. I keep her guessing that way she doesn't get to expect it on que and will learn to conserve/ appreciate the water haha idk if that makes sense 😅

I don't know, as I said I am new grower too, so still learning and I have a ton to learn for sure! Many people helped me in this forum-cheers for them! - and I wanna help other people too(as far as I can in my noobie situation, haha). This watering method worked perfectly for me and I avoided overwatering,so maybe will work for him too. I just want to help, that's all.

If you were watering 2x a day it's overwatering. Only water when you can pick up the pot easily.

Thinking retrospectively I should’ve initially weighed them, but didn’t think about it. They def feel lighter than they did 3 days ago, but that’s also the last time I watered them!

That’s good to know about the dropping & growth periods. I’ll prob give them some water starting tomorrow morning since that will be 4 days of drying out! Thanks for the advice!
Don't need to weigh them. Just tug(the sides of the container) on them after they are watered and you will know the weight. When you tug again and the pot comes off the ground easily you can water again.
