The grow tent temperature in my basement is remaining somewhat consistent and the temperature in the tent has been averaging between 68 and 71 degrees. I’m wanting to know if this is on the low side and that I should be looking for a way to raise the temperature by 4 or 5 degrees? Thanks

its a 2x4x6 foot tent with an LED light & exhaust air carbon filter.

well that’s fine though you need to know temp/humidity for lights on and off.. get that when you can and post.

Two things, can you dim down the rpm on the exhaust fan? And, adding a second light will be good for everything.

Ironically, I did slow down the fan since I have it on a speed controller. Another LED light will add some heat?

I'd disagree. 68 to 71 Fahrenheit with lights on is LOW. They will survive but be stunted in growth, no matter how well u water or apply nutes. 100% indica genetics would fare best.

Shoot for 75 to 80 with lights on.........lights off u will need a dehumidifier to keep RH in check.....lights off temps? 67 to 72 would be very good.

I have heat that will keep the tent between 70 and 75 degrees when the lights are on. They both seem to be doing fine, so far and I’ve just begun my 7th week.

I use a Ceramic 400 watt heater in the winter, just outside a lower port hole blowing IN. I'm in a basement and winters are cold here. I can hit 75 or so, about 7-8 degrees hotter then it is in the dead of winter (with lights off). House furnace is about 40 feet away from grow tents.

I don't rate my grow until its smoked. Could look great and THC levels and terps are shite.

I have a similar condition with a heater and lower port and I have it plugged into a time and an inkbird. My heater is a 750/1500 watt heater but I’m not sure if it would be less expensive to buy a smaller heater but then it would run longer? I’m guessing it’s all equal since the electric vs heat averages out?
