I run a 70 pint in a 4 x 8 space. You will need something bigger than a 22 pint in that size room. You’ll be dumping the collection reservoir a few times a day otherwise unless you run a pump out of it.

Where you growing and what media? Im in SoCal and our rh lately has been 20-30% during the day but climbs to 70% at night with ocean breeze. Your ac will lower humidity overall but 22 pint might not be enough for that large area. Most humidifiers have a drain plug that you can attach a drain line into a 5 gal bucket or to outside. I collect that condensate and reuse, be wary of mold tho, use H2O2.

Im in a 5x5 that is in my garage. I condition the air in the garage (huge waste) so my intake fan pulls in air at the correct temp and humidity but then exhausts back into the garage to be re-conditioned. Not very efficient but I can’t get an A/C, dehumidifier, humidifier and heater into the tent.

well they got a 35 pint one
Buy the biggest one possible. First time you get hung up somewhere and can’t make it home you’ll be glad. Empty water daily and wipe out reservoir. Use that water because it doesn’t get much more pure.

A 35 pint will work inside that size tent. Outside the tent and you’ll want at least a 50 or 70 pint. If you go inside the tent it will raise your temps. Probably in the range of 5 - 10 degrees. If you are pumping in ac that might not be an issue.

Yep buy biggest one possible. It won't work as hard and you'll dump water less often than with a smaller one. I am in SW. VA WITH HIGH RH. MY 32 PINT WORKS JUST FINE. about 24-36 hr. Capacity lately. Mine's in a 15 x17 basement room with only a bi-fold door separating it from the rest of the basement. Get digital one that you can set rh level that you want. Some, like mine, have a drain tube that you can use with a basement drain. No dumping, that would be nice. Mine was approx. $169 at Lowes. Hisense brand. Very happy with it.

I have the Hisense too. A bit larger though.

You can raise humidity in a tent but you must dehumidify the room. Doing otherwise is creating a lot of work for yourself.

Use the little dehumidifier you have to make a chiller for the RDWC system you know you can’t live without.

That one you listed looks good except for the size/capacity. It has the option to set your rh level, therefore you don't even use the timer. Set it and rh issues solved. Just empty once a day or so.

X2 with pushrod monkey. Humidifier can go inside tent, dehumidifier goes outside tent. Otherwise it screws up your heat.

Not necessarily. You need good ac supply going in though. Having said that ideally the dehumidifier should be outside, but it needs the capacity for the task at hand. What the OP posted ain’t gonna cut it outside the tent.

There is ac in the room the tent is in and I wasn't looking to put it in the tent but the room the tent is in

How long it takes to need to empty the reservoir?
