Pic. Amps x volts equals wattage... and that's how far they go to hide it. They make you calculate it.31.2 watts

Oh god I’m speechless… and it’s a 60 buck pump to boot. And here a 25 buck one on Amazon that’s more efficient. This just slightly irritated me 😂. I sure wasn’t prepared to put any research into the pumps like this. Your a rock star per usual

I'm blown away... I can't believe this hasn't hit the fan before. These are very popular cloners. It never clicked why I have seen so many heat issues posted UT now it's like a slap in the face that it all makes sense now.

Now the manifold may not fit on the other pump you posted as being efficient. The inside diameter may be smaller than my outside diameter of my threaded end of my manifold. I’m trying to find info on that. I had got a different pump from my local shop and I had to take it back right after due to the pumps hole being to small of a diameter. The ez 450 was the only one that they had in stock that would work with my manifold from the grow store.. they get you by making their manifolds a weird diameter which forces you to buy ezclone pumps. What a money grab

I'll peek around I'm up all night anyhow. Can you link the unit you have?

Take a tape measure and measure the size of the connection. I'm hoping it 3/4" ID so just the hole size inside not putside to outside
I will when I get back in in a few.. but why id and not od? The outside diameter would have to screw into the id of the pump?

The fittings for my pump are slightly larger than 3/4 it’s like 13/16
It’s been running 15 on 15 off for about 10 hours water temp is 77. I did put 1L ice bottle in it tho.

Ok you can use 3/4 ID hose just long enough so the fitting butt together if it doesn't thread in

My pump has a threaded outlet but the irrigation pipe slides right over it and works fine with zero leaks, you'll be fine. :)

Granted that I just spent 60 bucks on a enifficent pump I can’t take back. Once my seconds/minutes continuous timer gets in I’m gonna set it to 1 minute on 15 minitues off and see if that will keep the temps in check without adding ice bottles first.

So adding more water volume didn't help?

That pump will come in handy trust me.
