So adding more water volume didn't help?

That pump will come in handy trust me.
Well I’ve never stopped adding ice bottles. I added a 1 L ice bottle yesterday. Went about 12 hours without a bottle change and the temp was right at 77.5 added a 1 L and 2 16 oz. Bottles 8 hours ago and the temp is at 72.5. I suppose the extra water is helping

You have your original pump also? You can take them apart for cleaning. Mag drives sometimes need this.
Yes I have the original still. I’m going to disassemble it and clean it so it will be ready if I need it for something. I have two 800 gph pumps on stand by for my 50 gallon rezes also. I have so many pumps 🥴. Guess that’s better than not having any and needing one..

Water temp was 77.. added 3 16 oz bottles yesterday evening.. in two days I have noticeable root developing action. More than I’ve had in almost 2 weeks….Hydroguard and clonex nutes to 330 ppm has done the trick for me. Along with the ice bottles. I think I’m finally on my way to success again.. I added a 1 l bottle and 2 16 oz bottles.

In aero temps of 80f should be fine, hydro to high. Hydrogaurd and lower light intensity is what I would attribute it to. Also stability is important and hi temp swings. Not sure if the clonex has IBA but that can also help quite a bit.

Now I have been enlightened by the man we all owe a big thanks to for all the work and bullshit he has put in and put up with to make this site IMO the best period.... @logic posted this in another thread and I have to agree it's prob the best out there. SAG used to be an alternative I recommended but yeah I'll stop the rambling and just link it.

That's awesome.

I forgot to ask how many liters of water does your tote hold?

Prob just a little over 10 gallons I’m not sure on exact amount. But seems like I celebrated too soon smh…. I’m still getting mushy stems bellow my neoprene collars.. water isn’t even that warm around 77.. at this point I dunno what to do. I do have roots coming through on some but I just had to removed 6 due to this issue.. goes without saying I’m irritated to the max. I have my timer sat for 3 mins on 15 off.. I’m going to drop it down to 1 minute and keep ice bottles inside again..

Why not transplant as soon as you see roots?

Well I need about 2-3 inches of root growth for it to work with my system.. but the issue isn’t with clones with roots it’s the ones that aren’t rooting. They are turning into mush before roots even form.. sorry I didn’t make that clear but that’s the issue. Some aren’t even getting the chance to root…

Wow ok, really surprised your pump is heating up that much water.

Mine only holds 5 gallons but i don't have the high temps, it must be hot where you are or your pump simply gets hot.

Maybe cut down on the additives, skip the hydroguard and have your Ph around 6.8.

You must be experiencing evaporation so keep a large jug of cold water in the fridge and spike it with that.

I swear if you had a good pump it wouldn't and shouldn't be heating up that much water.

Personally i think it's the manifold, it's really small for such a large site tote, would you consider making a custom DIY manifold?

At this point I’d do anything. I do have the pump aqua man suggested…I can switch it out and see what happens. But In the room it’s like 75 degrees. When I touched the water it wasn’t warm or hot but coolish my temp meter said 77

Yep switch it out and see how you go.

If only you had a large esky to hold your tote inside, would keep temps much cooler.

I could get some foam and incase it maybe.. I don’t have my hlg 65 above it on which def helping. If I keep ice bottles in it I can keep the temp low-mid 70 high 60s. I just stopped the bottle changes to see if the extra water would be enough. I have the water kissing the bottom of the manifold now.. still gettin mush stems on unrooted clones..

Damn those mushy stems...ok try a couple of things seeing as you have no AC.

Try position a fan over a large bowl/esky of ice and have that blowing the cool air against your tote but make sure the air from the fan doesn't reach your clones..

Or you can make your own AC with an esky and get a fan or two that sucks and blows the air out from the esky towards your tote.

Even a sheet of thin metal, aluminum that will get and stay cold, place the tote on top of that, again you would need an esky though.

That's all i can think of, i know you will get on top of it, best of luck.

The thing is I should be able to run aeroponic cloner as high as low 80s without a issue. Especially with the use of h2o2 and or hydroguard.. I don’t get it why I’m having so many difficulties now.. I didn’t add any bottles before and it’s was getting freakin 80-90 degrees in that area through out summer.. it’s cooler now and I’m having issues I should of had when I def had heat issues in my veg room. Just dosent make sense..

So I wonder if I’m getting enough humidity not having the pump on long enough.. so I turned the timer to 5 minutes on 15 minutes off… I switched the pump out last night. Water temp this morning was 76. I had one un rooted clone that turned into mush so I replaced it.. I have 1 gallons jugs I’m throwing into the tank just waiting for them to freeze throughly.. I’ll see how this goes
