This is day 8 in rock wool cubes on 4 cuttings , 24/7 , no roots , slight slight color change but not much at all, tried taking dome off after day 4/5 and two really really started to wilt so I put it back on and one of the leaves raised back up, this is my first go, asking for help/advise. Do I feed them? Start exposing them outside the dome, definitely think I over saturated the plugs the first few days could that be my issue w the roots taking so long?

So 1 thing you can do is split the cube open. See if there are white specs poking through the stem. If so. You are days away from roots. 2. A tad bid much of leaves on it. Cut those in half. Other than that if your roots don't pop in 10 to 14 days in that dome. You need to dip your clones in a root enhancer or your mother plant isn't healthy or ready to clone.

Like you said I think you over saturated your plugs as well. They should be wet but not dripping wet. Did you give them any root stimulant?
I dipped in clonex if that’s what ya mean, soaked cubes in Athena Bloom nutes w 5.7 ph dipped foliage and cuts in Athena cleanse, my question is what should I do from now on, will these cuts make it? What should I do to help them ?

Have any good recommendations on some root enhancers?

Ahhh. The mother was too young. And that means clones will have a much harder time rooting. A mother plant should be 8 weeks old at least. They can still root. But will be stubborn. Rooting powder does help. But yeah. Stubborn as she goes.

My first recommendation is to be patient. Sometimes cloning takes longer because the mother plant wasnt mature, conditions in the cloning itself arent optimal, or genetics also play a part in it.

Like my Romulan always takes 2 weeks to throw roots, where as everything else I clone takes about 7 days to throw roots out. It could be the plant your trying to clone takes longer, or the mother wasnt quite mature enough (however this should never be a dead end.. you can clone a 3 week old plant from seed with no problems, it just depends).

Be patient, continue to give them what they need (im sure you've already read up on what to do) and I would say that around day 14 you should have some results showing. If using a dome proves to be troublesome for you, you can look into using an aerocloner.. its a bit easier for beginners and those with environments that arent optimal for cloning and rooting cuts.

Did your dome not have vents? you went really fast on popping that dome off probably in shock from going 100 percent humidity to 60 It took me 2 weeks to get my dome off . Fan the clones if you dont have vents.

Yessir thank you for the response I’ll definitely keep the thread posted!

I always cut off all the leaves except the tip.
Don't do this. Leave the fan leaves and maybe trim just the tips of the fans off so there is less surface space (helps from covering up other cuts), but you don't want to take all of the leaves off.. that will shock the cuttings and leave them with little to work with for recovery.

Not so in my grow. Works perfect - 99% success in 8-10 days. 3-4" clones only the top left on.
