Hi,

i've read online that weed really needs sugar while growing and especially in flowering so i am making sure, so does 1 teaspoon per liter of water do any benefit to it in 3-4th week of flower? Excluding the microbes in the soil, does the sugar go to the flowers and produce more yummies in there? :D That's what i wanna know, i am starting to give them pk 13/14 now since the flowers are big enough now and can handle it and i am really wondering about the sugars, i have dark cane sugar which i have read is the best for nutrifying plants if that's even a word :D

I am asking because i have read this today on google:

Avoid using sugar water on plants that are growing properly. Plants use photosynthesis to produce the amount of nutrients they need, and often if you add sugar when the plants area already growing well on their own, the plant roots will not accept the sugar and plants will wilt and die off.

I hope that's for lettuce or something :D i gave her 1 teaspoon per liter of water yesterday and today only pk 13/14, at this point i'd stick to giving her sugar water once a week, so what do you know?

Honestly never heard of giving sugar water to weed... seems like a bad idea though.
Here's an article i found some time ago https://www.royalqueenseeds.com/blog-how-sugar-plays-a-major-role-in-growing-cannabis-n1011

They also say: There are a vast array of sugar supplements out there claiming to boost the bloom period significantly. Everything from branded products to simple blackstrap molasses can be added to the substrate a few weeks before bloom to ensure widespread and effective sugar distribution.

That's why some growers use cane sugar instead of normal white sugar because dark cane sugar also contains the minerals that are in blackstrap molasses

I've heard of molasses, I personally wouldn't use it, but I know people do. Give it a go and see if you find it beneficial. I spent a lot of time and $ on making my soil and buying my nutes, so for me, it seems unnecessary.

Unsulfered molasses
It was all the talk back in my day.

I experimented with it for a few years.

UNLESS a sick plant needs a boost.
Never on healthy plants

Yeah and processed white sugar or even cane sugar is not the same as molasses. I would never give sugar water to anything other than maybe my Christmas tree or a bouquet of flowers as like an iv drip for something that is on borrowed time.

Adding sugar is about feeding microbes when in organic soil. I never heard of anyone doing it in other grow systems.
