Leaves are starting to turn light green/ slightly yellowing and not sure what is going on. Growing under an 630 watt led fixture in coco coir. Trying to figure out if it’s a nitrogen deficiency, magnesium deficiency, nutrient lockout or so on. Please let me know what anyone here thinks!

The light is too much for the amount of nutes its getting. Need more nutes or less light.

Will supplementing co2 help? I was told if I don’t supplement under led’s I will get magnesium Deffficiency

gotcha, been using botanicare products. Been using the recommended amount per gallon, not sure what else to do. My ppm and EC levels are where they need to be. Do I need to figure out how to dim the lights?

IDK not a coco guy, but you might just need to feed more often.

I’m feeding every day, they aren’t at all drying out. Was told not to let dry out at all

Feeding everyday is good. it does look like maybe light stress can you raise your lights up?

Yes I can raise the light up, but they are honestly pretty high above the plant already. Talked to someone and apparently when using led lights you gotta supplement CO2. Seems to be that they are deficient in magnesium. Any thoughts?

I mean we think its light stress.. but it could be both...how much calmag are u giving per gallon.. and why is the coco dry it should never be dry...check ur runoff..how many times are u feeding a day?

No you don't need co2 with leds. That's just wrong. For sure they need mag, but idk how trying to increase growth rate would make it need less. In my world, more light needs more nutes, less light needs less nutes. You say you give the right ppm whatever that is? And you have some kind of light pretty high whatever that is? Without more details, no one can help you figure it out.

Looking at your pictures. I see red stalks. Kind of a sun tan for your plant. A very dark tan. And the leaves are wrinkled / blistered looking. Tips pulling up slight canoeing.
Other than that your plant looks great. Just cut the light back a bit say 20%. If you have a smart phone check the app store for Lux app.
Download and check your light.
16,000 -18,000 Lux for seedlings.
15,000 - 16000 lux for vegging.
40,000 Lux max for flowering.\

A Teaspoon of Epsom Salts = Magnesium and a 1/4 tsp of gypsum = Calcium in a liter of water once a month would not hurt.
I'm thinking if you turn the light down a bit and Cal / Mag it as above. The plant will green up and be quite happy.
NPK 1/2 strength once every 14 days no more. Don't push, just give them what they need and let the plants come along.
Bump the NPK up to full strength once every 14 days when 1/2 grown. Watch for any signs of Burned tips.

@2Bad I haven’t at all allowed for the soil to dry up, they are receiving about 4 ml of cal mag per gallon of water. @GrowSince52021 the lights are about 2 and a half feet about my tallest plants. But I talked to a couple LED distributors and they are all highly advising people to supplement CO2 because it can cause magnesium deficiency.

Sorry I thought this was the one with the video of the dry soil, I must of had my posts messed up. How many times a day are u feeding? How much runoff? What ph?

What light is it? Only reason you might need co2 is if the light is too bright. I don't think adding co2 will fix your mag problem. Use calmag instead.

Mg demand would be higher with co2.
I don't see signs of low co2

I think you are keeping them too wet, and have over 20% runoff?

The calmag could probably be higher. That would help cover the runoff issue, opening the tops. The green won't come back until you stop drowning them though.

The weight of a freshly filled pot (from the sack) is your dry weight (though it's obviously damp). The difference between this and the weight at runoff is your holding capacity. You should water when between 50 and 70% of that holding capacity is gone.

Do you have the runoff figures? volume/pH/ec
It’s coco..if you click Aqua’s how to water link above he says to keep it 90% saturated at all times..

I just transplanted them into 3 gallon pots about a week ago and I had way to much runoff the first 2 waters. I’ve got it dialed in now to 20% runoff. It’s actually my fathers light. He been working with a grow in Eugene and the light I’m using is there finished product. He’s coming by tonight to take a look. And also my ph of my runoff is at 6.1
