Hey guys and gals jorge here,, thanks in advance. So i buikt a small grow room in my basement isulated it, and wrapped in plastic and, the sheetrocks with moisture board.holds temp and humdity too good. I have a ac infinity cloudline t6 venting out the room. I live in the north east so im just passively pulling air from the basement. I built a small 2x2 corner and stuck a 2x2x4 tent in there for drying. Im pulling air in from the basement putside the room , and pushing air out into the room being exhausted by the t6 heres my problem i cant get my humidity above 50 or my temp below 70f in the dry tent. The whole room is at 45 rh with a flux between 78 and 70 F .. i just snipped 2 plants and i left leaves on untrimmed to help with the humidity. In the tent and the whole room smells like hay and grass its the 3rd day in dry .my question,, Did i just kill my harvest by leaving the leaves on? How have you all dealt with temps and rh in your dry area your unable to change at the moment, everyone recomends 60f/60rh. But what if you cant hit that? Any advice and help will be appreciated. Im gonna search the forums for answers once i figure out how
Thanks
Jorge

Fresh cut plants will smell like hay initially sometimes. It should get better during cure.

Is moving the harvest to another room that you can control without effecting the current grow an option?

Happy wife happy life. Now i juat got to get her a lint roller so she doesnt go in full of hair
you need to get that under 70 ASAP before you ruin the WHOLE THING.

it might already be, drying WAY too fast.

terpenes have evaporated off at 78F for sure, you are slowly using quality as every minute passes in those temps.

those look beautiful too, itd be a shame to see it ruined.

I have a fan pushing air around just not on them and intake and exhaust
Like @Moshmen said you'll be fine at those numbers but I'd add that you need air flow but only one exhaust fan. Nothing else. Too much air will make those beautiful plants crunchy quick

I have an cloudline t4 bringing air in to the tent. Only way i was abke to lower to 70f, then a smallcanfan pulling air out through carbon. Then a 6 in. Clip on fan inside just for movement
