These girls are four weeks old and they had a potassium deficiency earlier on in the cycle (according to my diagnosis), but after I added seaweed extract fertilizer that seemed to have been solved to a certain extent but still have leaves with burn off tips, and yellow tips. Is this a deficiency or a nute burn? And one plant has very light coloured new growth. Medium is soil

What made you think you had a K deficiency? Not throwing shade just curious.
Having a K deficiency is a common issue late in flower, not 4 weeks in veg.
It looks like you have a K excess problem now. Especially with bottom leaves curling and burnt ends.

Check out the sticky. Its from 2013, this person REALLY knew her stuff and shared pure gold.

At first I thought they had a K deficiency because they used to look like this
According to that chart now it looks like K abundance, not sure what's going on. So should I calm down on the nutes and let the plants do their thing?

Other than the tip burn they look healthy.
What kind of soil? A lot of store bought garden soils (ocean forest, happy frog, roots organics) do not even need nutrients for the first 4-6 weeks. Just water.
Sometimes plants find "hot" patches and can do funky things especially after up potting into new soil, but usually they grow out of it. Burnt leaves wont turn back green.
Should be fine, just water it normally and let it grow out of it.

Mine are doing that too. Just started today. Yesterday I only gave them water.

Hey guys heres an update on the plant. I repotted it completely to a new soil, broke a bit of the roots in the process but looks like it's recovering now. Has started to grow again also.

So here my question, my other bigger plants are also having the same issue at a lesser level so I'm wondering if it's ok to break some roots off and change the soil in those also, but as the roots have already spread a lot it'll be a lot of damage. What do you all think? Break roots and sacrifice for the future or let them fight it off?

Doesn't look too bad, just a bit burned I guess. How's the progress?

I raised the light and have ignored them for 3 days. No real change in either direction. I intend to top and feed today. Maybe I'll add a bit of nitrogen to promote growth. My fear is if this is nitrogen burn, I shouldnt add it.

A little more than a week ago I started training and top dressed with my same mix plus castings and guano. Could that have caused the yellowing?
