Plants not drinking as much in flower

Hello farmers. I’m currently growing in soil and 5 gallon pots under 600 true watts. Photoperiod plants. I’m currently on day 46. Was curious when you notice the plants not drinking as much? I vegged my plants a bit too long this run, around 10 weeks. Thanks

My plants slow down about 2 weeks before cut.

They drink like mad when fatting up then slow down and ripen.

Exactly, the last few weeks the plants won't be as thirsty. They may also show some fall leaf colors. All of this is common late flower.

Thanks for confirming. I’m starting week 8 in a couple days and noticed on my last watering that it took nearly 4 days for my pots to dry back where it was typically 2-3 days.
