New grower here... attempting to find my "happy place" for using fertilizers. 3 tents going, 1 tent starting week 3 of flower, 2nd tent just flipped to flower, both those are running Gaia Green
3rd tent is about 4 weeks old and trying out Canna Coco. As i learn i'll probably figure out something more efficient, better, and better end results. But for now, i'm just soaking it all in and
hopefully learning along the way. Looks like i've come to the right place!!

Thanks for the site!

I’m a new to the site also at 44. Science didn’t teach me how to grow green grandma did years ago. I’m glad my strain is bred the old fashioned way. Backporch

A big howdy to y'all. I'm SOD, retired mild mannered electrician now in my 7th decade of life. I have a few pounds of tasty buds under my belt from previous indoor soil grows. Been consuming the fruits of my labor for the last 6 years. Damn the luck I'm almost out. So going new school now. Out with the HID lighting and in with the new LED's. Also grow some outdoors as well. My usage is medicinal, I suffer from joint pain as well as nueropathic pain with makes it hard to sleep. So I am not so much of a recreational user. I do enjoy a good buzz when I get the guitar out. I sound good to me, that's all that matters.
So I have 8 plants going now in a 4x4 tent. I have read "Teaming with Microbes" and really like the concept. My plan from now on is to practice the Living Soil way of doing things.
I'm here to learn and may be able to give some advice along the way. I do have trouble at times with acronyms since a lot has changed over the years. Add to this the fact as a seasoned citizen I don't know how to post a picture that I have taken with my cell phone. I can show you how to use a slide rule. So I'm sure there will be times when I may have to ask what some may think of as a silly question, but it's how I learn. I asorb knowledge like a sponge once I'm introduced to the subject. My biggest lack of knowledge now is understanding all the macro/micro nutrients and their relationships to each other and to the plant. Lighting and watering I have down. Getting my mind to accept that less is more when comes to nutrients is my struggle, but I'm slowly winning the battle.
So that's all folks, as they say. It's been an incredible journey so far. Going from buying "lids" for $10 bucks and using a business card to separate the seeds and stems out of it, to today with all the fancy gear to grow. One more thing I can't keep up with. Back in my day we had Acapulco Gold and Panama Red, hashish and Thai Sticks. Today there must be a million different strains.
By the way, great site.

Hey everyone - I'm a lifelong smoker (52 now) and currently residing in Amsterdam where I'm growing two Wedding Cheesecake photoperiod which are about 4/5 weeks into flower.

We've had amazing summer weather here, but now the rains have started and I left my plants out last night. They're currently inside a glass room with plenty of light with a fan on them to dry the buds out and I'm buying some Propolis to spray on them as I heard it's good and natural. Also, next time they need water I will add some natural yoghurt to the water to help the Ph.

I look forward to receiving more tips.

Last year I grew 4 plants and had to ditch all of them as they got severe mold during the final dark phase as I hadn't ventilated the drying room! :( Hoping for more success this year.

Peace.
