Having issues with my first grow, no discoloration besides dark leaves up unlike the 4 week mark where i’m beginning to see light and darker spots on my fan leaves, i assumes the holes were from the aphids one of the plans were infested with but they are now being managed several times daily and have shrunk to a minimum compared to when they started, and no they havent trafered between plants, it’s separated from the others in the indoor setup and i check the others for signs frequently. Seems that these abnormalities are appearing on my small guys too. Any form of advice would be appreciated! I also do occasionally see some small flies near my plants, could these be the cause?

How often are you watering them and how much water? Do you get runoff? Are the pots in able to drain or are they sitting in saucers? What are your temperature and humidity levels? More info is needed

The yellowing on larger plant is Mg. Def.
Add 1 tablespoon Epsom per gallon on next watering .

I’m watering once a day for the big guys, a few times a day with a mister (when i come back and the topsoil is dry) Whenever i see runoff i dump it but they do sit in their own juices for a day 2 until i can visually see water in the saucer then i dump it out, but i can begin collecting it to try and measure the ppm if that is absolutely needed, i just can’t figure how to calibrate my ec gauge. That are sitting in saucers. humidity is about 55% humidity and about 80 degrees. 15-17k par coming out of the mars hydro ts-3000s, one a tad under 75% and the other at 25% for the small ones (5000-6000 par). feeding with just regular water with the reccomnded .6ml per gal of mammoth p. using roots organic for the littles and switched the clones to fox farm ocean blend. planning on doing the same to the little ones once ther roots reach the edge of the pots. Sorry for the timited first bit of info, didn’t know if the images were enough, didn’t want to bore you :) Really appreciate the help.

They don't need cal mag. They need a proper wet/dry cycle if they are in soil. Don't mist topsoil. Saturate the entire pot slowly when watering and then wait until the whole pot is dry and feels lightweight. If you have to water everyday when watering this way, then you up pot to a larger container.

They also need to be able to drain. Shouldn't be sitting in their own juices for days. This will drown roots and allow pathogens to infect your plants. Those risers are supposed to be in the saucer, if you had bigger saucers.

Is daily draining sufficient? i’m not sure about a drainage system right now when i can manually do it, i check them several times a day so i can do it frequently, just spent a load on shit for this setup and i am really sick of ordering shit on amazon 🤣

You don't want to be watering in a way that the trays need daily draining. Let the pots dry out, no more water until they are dry at the drainage holes and feel light. Tilt the pots to help them drain and dry out, put a rock under one end. Once they are dry, you begin the cycle. Saturate the whole pot, wait for dry, saturate, dry... You want to have your plants sized to their pots so you water once or twice a week with a full dry back between waterings.

So you drain when you irrigate and that only once pot is light and had some good dryback. The correct watering practice is the basics of having a healthy plant or you can downright forget it. Now soil is sometimes different and you gotta observe and find your sweetspot but as a base rule of thumb the pot needs to be about only half of its weight and then you pour 1/3rd its volume in water in, in 3 steps. And observe when, how much drain, you get that gives you an idea of how good a soil can hold water.

Thank you for the watering advice. I’m now waiting for the larger 5 gal pots to dry before i water them again , and i began watering using that technique until i saw drainage, then i let the excess grain outside the saucers then put them back in the tent. Wont be watering again until they are light and dry. I’ll be up potting the little ones again once their roots reach out a bit but i tranfered them this week.

So let me make sure i’m watering them right now, i water a bit, let it soak x3 or until i see drainage, let it stop dripping then put it back in the tent until it’s light and dry again?

And make sure they are lifted up out of the saucers so the bottom of the pot is exposed to air. Even if you put pebbles in the trays, it would help.

Okay, you seem very knowledgeable so even though i was hesitant to, i’ll order some raisers and put some rocks under in the meantime. I appreciate the support
