They're under 1000w LED at 30cm 3x3 tent currently week 3 in the tent slow start due to first timer errors, feeding once a day (morning 2-3hrs after lights on) at 400ppm Cyco nutrients 20% run off at about 350ppm Soil/Coco mix. One of each type strains unknown both being fed the same looks like the sativa suffered over watering or nuit burn indica looks healthy. Both were toped today I'm not doing temp or humidity control at this stage as I can't afford any of that right now. Coming into winter daytime temps around 20°C and 10°C morning temps tent is inside a large shed. The stems are slightly purple thinking of increasing ppm's to 450 once tops sprout back hopefully the sativa's next set of leaves are back to normal..

Hi mate.whats the actual light you are running bud..you need to increase the temp in there and get it up to 26-27 deg and night not dipping under 20 over night.if you can afford an oil fin heater and run it at say 450 watt should b heaps for a 3x3.i use one in my flower room at 1000 watt and once warmed up i turn it down to the lower setting which is 450 watts. theres even another setting at 350 .i bought it at bunnings and was under 40 bucks.i use an temp and cool inkbird. once ctemps reached it extracts the hot air out and new fresh air in.once you increase the temp there photosynthesis will pick up and start growing waay better ..your a little behind but they are okay.this is 4 weeks in an insulated 3x5 room In a shed running a 200 watt tube heater and a 150 ceramic heater and arec under an 315 cmh.i bought the ceramic heater at the animal tucker box..they are on ebay too with different wattage ones..

Hey Madmax thanks heaps brother I'm running on a Unit Farm UF1000 in my veg tent 3x3 and have a Unit Farm UF3000 in the flower tent 4x4 trying to eventually run at the same time. I actually have an extra ceramic light heater from the kids reptile enclosure I could use I didn't even think of that.. Cheers

Nice set up mate did it cost much to put together.? I'm running dual exhaust on the flower tent in and out while the veg tent just has out with both exhausts running onto the external drivers for the light boards just to keep them cool.

Hey Aussie, looks like a real nice setup.

Are you in an uninsulated, uncooled garage type structure? Down under? That has got to be HOT in the summer. Just planning on winter grows?

Thanks Moe.Red hopefully I can produce with it. Yeah uninsulated no cooling tipical outback shed day time temps just a bit over 40°C with 50°C + in the shed so winter grows until I can afford cooling for the tents.

The sativa looks sad today not sure on my next move probably going to start giving her just water every second day for a while see how she reacts. Indica loven it by the looks.. I got the ceramic dome heater in just a moment ago could only get a 50w bulb hopefully raises the temp enough. I'm wondering if I should transplant soon or wait until the next set of branches have developed or even the next two sets..?

So after getting a 150watt bulb for the ceramic heater and placing a bucket of water next to the intake I managed to get my temp to 26°C and rh to 55%. Do these purple stems and purple lines down the main stalk mean a hungry plant or is that just stress.?

Crikey! I had to Google 50°C. That's fucking hot. Do yall have different pests types on your plants down there, or are they pretty much the same?

This is my first indoor grow so I haven't encountered any pests so far I did an outdoor a couple of years ago and only got some grass hoppers..

Since Saturday I have raised the lights to try help the suspected light burn on the sativa with girls getting 360ppfd 22DLI and still feeding 400ppm. Both plants are now looking similarly droopy with wrinkled leaves and purple stems so I'm not sure what the problem is. By the droop and light coloured leaves I feel they may be hungry so I will increase nutrients tomorrow to 500ppm. I'm still having humidity issues so I've put a wet towel in the tent to try help.

Hi. It looks like you have 2 threads going on the same grow. I saw the other one 1st so will copy my answer to this one not knowing which one you are watching.
I am pretty new here and returning to growing after a long hiatus. I do have a lot of research in my head though. I agree with Northern Organics opinion in the other thread. You seem to have been watering a bit heavy from the start. In many of your pictures the medium looks very wet. Coco has a learning curve on watering as it holds a lot of moisture. Many people not familiar with growing in coco start out adding in 20-30% perlite or pumice to the mix to help it drain and keep air in the root zone. You need to let that mix dry and consider doing a remix of your growing medium with some perlite or pumice. . Let that mix dry out some and no more nutes right now. See if you can get them looking a bit better and recovering for the repotting.

Hey man, I'm not an experienced grower by any means. I feel silly trying to give advice, but something you said stuck out to me, from the little bit I have learned. You mentioned feeding once a day. Does that mean you're watering once a day? I struggled with over watering at the beginning. Then over corrected and was under watering. Now I've got it down. But the way I learned was to water until you get run off and let the plant completely dry out before watering again. For me it's every 3 days. Maybe you're over watering?

Let them dry out a little and the roots will search for water. I wouldn’t water every day depending on the media. But I don’t know much either.

Thanks for the advice I'll have perlite in the cloth pots these plants will get transfered into. Should I water with just water for the next couple of feeds.?

Nice stuff. I have close to the same. Here in Arizona, I've made it through a couple of summers (47C in the tent) with just a fan. Yield, however, not so good. Pretty good potency, but, loose, airy buds. I'm doing a mini grow inside now. I'm looking around for an old evaporative cooler for next year. I figure if I can get it down to 35C, the added humidity would help a bunch. I bet you could find one laying around somewhere. Good luck.
