lol the rest is on the grower but I’m new to leds but seen exactly what they can do side by side with my results from hps

a little late but I thought I’d add this in there. Saw a mat infestation starting early week one of flower and decided to try half strength ipm by Athena and then a second time full strength the following day rights as lights went out. I also put a sticky trap on each plant they all caught less then 15 or so bats each and haven’t seen them in a week.

Gave a couple of my 10 gal girls that I water every day 1.5 ec for the last 10-12 waterings. I assume later into flower I will be watering them twice a day. My question is since they will be watered everyday are you just supposed to keep the ec low or even feed them at all lmk what y’all are doing it’s been a while for me

One of the girls I feed every day starting to get a little darker I’ve been giving her 1.5 ec daily 3.5 gallons in a 10 gallon what would y’all suggest feeding if you were watering every day ?

My buddy just hit over 2lb a light and his plants were super stressed out and saw him hit 30lbs on a 10 light with these lights and great conditions

The problem I have here is you are only talking about the light. The inference is that this light reigns supreme and can make a 3 pound per light grower out of anyone.

On that I call bullshit.

There is way more to it than just a light. But over and over again we are talking about just the light doing this.

I feel like you are trying to sell me a light. Are you? Why are you not talking about media, watering, CO2 and environmental control, genetics, etc etc. What about how you weigh? Dry and Cure?

🤷‍♂️ Maybe I'm wrong.

I don't even measure output "per light" although easy enough to calculate. The de facto standard for measuring productivity is based on footprint, not light count. 4# in a 4x8. Watts / meter squared. These are numbers you will see that provide a more reasonable comparison.

An even better one if trying to highlight the lighting system is KWH/gr. This encompasses an efficiency coefficient of the light.

You do you man, and if you are just a humble grower trying your best, my apologies. But if there is a sales slant to this behind the scenes, that's gonna irk me, and several others here. Not that sales are bad - but be honest and up front about it.

3lb a light is just a poor measurement imo… grams per KW hr is the true test.

A plant is limited to the light it can effectively use by the growers ability to provide optimal grow conditions. Especially when comparing LED to LED. Thats where LED in general has the ability to outperform other types of light. G/KW hr.

The rest is meaningless in comparison because there is a big difference in vegging 2-4 weeks and 6-10 weeks. Not only in production but also in yield and that has nothing to do with the light

I doubt we can even agree on what 3# is. Remember that dust up with SSHZ and MiMedGrower?
