I accidentally grew a couple seeds with the previous seasons flowering schedule (12/12). Didn’t notice until I saw pistols. They’ve been’pistoling’ for quite a few weeks but never developed into the button-like early flowers. They grew into a bushy mass of shoots with lots of pistols.
Any suggestions? Thanks for taking the time
MrE

I tried doing that. I started from seed at 12hr in early February, hoping I could move them outside the middle of March (when I would be at 12 hours). But they all were showing early flower before getting outside. Once they were out and planted they seemed kind of funky, so I ended up trashing em. Don’t have any good pics, but this was March 10th and you can seeing some flowering. Let us now if you have any luck.

When most people showed the results of scientific trials, that have been done without bias, at different places and points in time. . its impossible to be anti-science. The problem lies when people trust information that other "educated" people have, without ever implementing it themselves, or even looking at unbias trials.
Science cannot prove that Lincoln was assassinated. History can prove that. The thoughts and processes of others using their vision are what determines what we read and study. Imagine all the book burning throughout history.
What we know, is different than what we can prove. If anyone cant comprehend something, its because the teachers suck.

So im gonna need you to go do what the doctors recommend for the better of mankind. I mean if we want to live on mars, we have to mine all the lithium now, so eventually we can build a machine around a star, then we can control time. .we humans will populate the galaxy with humans. . just like before. . oh wait

I mean yes and no but I think you give too much credit to people even when presented with said information. Scientific papers are not easy to understand in anyway and it’s almost intentional because scientists are insecure (I am a scientist). People don’t care about p values nor do they care about the significance of numbers and time doing these experiments. It is almost always the case where general statements are the talking points of an experiment. Everyone just wants results they can spout off about but they don’t have any clue how difficult it can be to get definitive results. So to expect someone to present a scientific paper every time when they talk about a topic is absurd to me. What then? Explain the paper?

I have spend way too much time reading the posts on this site. I love science… just don’t have time or the brain cells left to warrant the battle. I aspire to be a plant whisperer and practice KISS. I still haven’t harvested a bud…. but loving the grow!!!

The key to science is understanding the principles at play and looking how they can affect the big picture while trying to consider all the other moving parts that may or may not be affected and may or may not be positive. You cannot simply apply findings but you can learn from the priciples and results as a whole…. Atleast thats why i read them… to draw my own conclusions and i have not seen a paper in a long time that does not show some sort of bias or room to debate the results or findings.

And i very much agree the findings are only applicable to the controls and variables used… you change any of those and the finding gonout the window

But I finished grade 9 so I haven’t been taught the proper way to read a paper lol.

Nah man I came off pretentious as hell and I think I misunderstood @Cashmeh post. And it’s not a reading comprehension thing. The language of the papers is intentionally over fluffed and romanticized. Abstracts and conclusion supposed to be summarize paper succinctly but even that isn’t done well. I swear this rant was intended somewhere else. I agree about just wanting to be a better grower. All the science in the world means nothing without experience.

I dont think you came off as anything other than sincere and i agree with a lot of what you said. Id rather find the truth than be right and I think many of us here share that in common… how little we could learn together if we all shared the same views. Thats the strongest part of a community the ability to discuss, agree, disagree and so forth… the strength comes from being able to discuss

Kick your pots over and they will react instanly and begin growing upwards again. Do this at full height and full side branching.
I've thought about this. But what keeps the soil in and how do you water them?
