I have these weird shiny lines along the
Veins on leaf tips. Its only happening to one out of the 8 genetics im running. It looks like thrip damage but its kind of different. Its along the veins and starts at the very tips of mature leaves. I have 30 plants total and all of the other ones dont have any of this happening. Ive had thrips and the damage is usually scattered and across the entire room. Ill post a video but its hard to see the damage like it is in real life. I geuss my question is if its not thrips what else can cause this wet look only on leaf tips. Ive scoped under a microscope and dont see anything at all other then the indent of the shiny spots.

Man its so weird its literally only this genetic and its on all 3 of them. Never seen anything like it other then thrips.
So you suspect it's "honey dew" from a pest? Is it sticky?

There are other pests that produce honey dew, like aphids and white flies. I'm just not seeing the damage thrips do.

But guess what? If one of these culprits are pooping honey dew on your leaves, they can be killed through a variety of low impact "pesticides," like dilute vinegar, dilute dish detergent, etc. Doesn't matter which is doing it, they all die.

No its not honey dew either it doesnt wash off lol idk what the hell it is. Plants still seem to be flourishing so ill just keep an eye on it. Just weird its only happening to this genetic and its never done this before and ive ran it for over a year now lol.
