Some flower shots, day 24..

Blue Dream:

Grape Pie (love at first sight tbh, happy as a clam):

AJ Sour D (has hated me from day 1 lol - doesn't help that she's not getting any special attention, downfalls of running 6 strains in a 5x5):
IMG 4522

White Truffle (this girl stretched way more than I thought she would, big ass fan leaves too):
IMG 4523

Tangie (way bushier than I imagined):

Question for y'all.. Inexperienced here, so I'm wondering why a few of these girls have lots of orange pistils already at day 27. The Tangie has the most. Is this normal, or is there something I need to do/change up? Also attached images of my environment and reservoir data. 🙏🙏

Wondering if my light is too bright possibly, or if maybe my fan is hitting them too hard - it's oscillating, and doesn't seem to be hitting them too hard in my opinion, but figured I'd ask.

Can be genetics. Some strains will orange up and throw new white pistils a few times through flowering

just a heads up, but it looks like you might be on the verge of a calcium deficiency. Either lower the light intensity a touch or increase calcium a touch. have ran into the same thing with LEDs before and it can be a motherfucker to track down. otherwise, they lookin fine!

Are you running positive or negative pressure inside the tent? Are you filtering the air for intake? Could it be particulates hitting pistils and being mistaken for pollen? Do you foliar feed at all?

Glad I started a journal! I'll increase the calcium immediately. Just for the sake of learning, what tipped you off?

There is negative pressure inside the tent.. Passive intake through the vents at the bottom of the tent (below the flood table), and an exhaust fan pumping to a carbon filter outside the tent (just for the sake of saving room in the tent).

I don't foliar feed at all. Next round I will probably do some foliar during veg, but I figured I wouldn't spray anything at all while flowering.

Appreciate the reply's. 🤓🤓

yellow dimpling kinda look, and the deep varigations in the leafs coupled with the slight upturn on the edges. it initially presents like light cheetah print that kinda looks "off" and then you end up with necrotic spots a few days later as the cells start collapsing.

Ok, thanks for the info!

Maybe add a scrubber in your lung room so you know the air is clean coming into tent.
I foliar up to week 3 flower, some people go further.
Sometimes I see this after my last foliar, but like aquaman said they will be replaced by white pistils and you would never know.

So how many fertigation events(&durations) are you up to now?
I’m doing 11 right now during lights on, and 1 at night.

I think I read somewhere, regarding crop steering, that at some point I’ll want more dryback.. so I’ll get rid of the night feed. Have to do a little research on this I suppose. I think it’s mid-late flower.

I think next round I’m going to jump for the soil sensor, that way I can more accurately tailor the crop steering/feed schedule. It’ll automatically feed whenever the sensors (average of all sensors) hit a certain moisture level. Don’t tell my wife! 😈😈

Sure enough.. This is what the 91 Chem looked like yesterday, only a handful of leaves look like this. The others don't look quite as bad, but I do notice some variegations. Hopefully they bounce back quick.

glad, but not glad, i called it man. this problem stumped me something fierce last run as everything looked on point. it wasn't until i hit up the nutrient manufacturer with pics that they called it out, and @Aqua Man was able to pinpoint the cause (too much light too quickly without adequate nutrient input adjustments). one of those hard learned lessons you don't forget.

Day 31 (a few night shots).

I was stoned and only ended up taking pictures of the nicest 3 🤡. Still working on the calcium deficiency, and still getting the rest of my system dialed in obviously. The Grape Pie is so easy to grow, not sensitive at all and loves to eat. If I was running a room full of just GP I wouldn't worry about over feeding as much, but the rest of the girls are definitely a little over fed (burnt tips, slight clawing on a few). White Truffle and Blue Dream weren't as phased as the others. My EC is 2.0ish right now.. I'll probably drop it down to 1.8 next cycle. I also have a bit of a fungus gnat problem... working on correcting that now - using Microbe Lift (4 drops per gal) and yellow sticky traps at the base of each plant for the flyers. Not expecting it to be a big deal.

Grape Pie - is absolutely stunning!

Day 36. Not sure if I should be worried about the lack of size of these at this stage.

Grape Pie:

Blue Dream - This one is stacking nicely actually.. none of the others look this far along.

White Truffle:

Tangie - got a flat top look going on.
IMG 5006

91 Chem - also stacking pretty nicely.. this one got hit the hardest by the calcium deficiency, but the flowers look good.

The weather has been super nice here the last few days. We’ve been opening our windows at night which I love.. the downside is the CO2 ppm in my tent has dropped to 650 over night. It ramps back up eventually, but kind of disappointing I can’t keep it around 1100 at this stage in flower. Before opening our windows it would range from 950-1250. 😭😭

I guess I’ll be investing in a CO2 tank next run.
