Hi, i swapped from soil to hydro some months ago. Having big problems :( completed first hydro grow, but was far from perfect. 2nd i stopped midway bloom cause i could tell they struggled completing and was not gonna give a good harvest no matter what. Now im on the third and thought i had everything right since i had an idea of earlier problems.
But they doesnt look good. Veg was doing fine but flower they started yellowing leaves, some dry spots and nodes, and general hanging not looking happy.

My setup is:

Gorillagrow rdwc 8 system (19liter pots)

Hesi complete nutrient set (adding only cal/mag)

Room temp and reservoir temp is good (25-28c for room and 20c resorvior)

I use ro filter (comes out 0,03EC)

I read for the symptoms of yellowing leaves and find out that can be meny things. Not sure if its nitrogen it needs?

If anyone use a similar setup except for the nutrients i would be happy to know wich nutrients you use (if it can be bought in europe) since im getting desperate to just get it working. Never had problems with soil grows btw.

Forgot to mention

My ph is 5.7 in veg and 5.9 in flower. I have ph control unit so it will always be within 0.1 of that spot.
EC i start around 1.0 - 1.2 and end about 2.0

It probably needs everything including nitrogen. I would get that ph up to 6.5 to start with, that way if the strain is ph sensitive you aren't burning. Run your ec milder as well to heal now that you have damaged them, maybe you had a lockout and they can't eat.. Don't do more than one change at a time in the future if you have ,so you can backtrack to where you went wrong.

Ok, atm ec is 1,5-1,6. Will try 1,0-1,2? I think they arent eating since my ec is starting to raise, specially last few days.

I'd try 1/2 strength and gradually increase as they demand more

In hydro we tend to run a bit lower ph than soil guys. I run 5.5 and let it float up to 5.9 and drop it back down to 5.5.

Without pictures its hard to tell. Since its a 3rd unsuccessfull grow id like to see pictures of the roots.

Your ppm should slowly be dropping not raising. Your overfeeding it for sure.

Id say if you dont have root rot, and your still getting issues up top, your also not feeding it what it wants.

100ppm calcium, 50ppm mag, 100ppm nitrate, 150ppm potassium, 150ppm Phosphate and watch your ppms drop from 650 down to 400 as the plant grows and eats, your ph will also raise from 5.5 to 5.9. Depending on the size of your water capacity determines how often you need to add nutrients, but not what nutrients you need to add. Can you tell us the exact ratios of everything you put into your water for feed.

Yes,I assumed the roots are damaged and were sensitive
