I don't want or trust dispensary weed

Am I being paranoid? I don't trust them to procure good, wholesome and healthy marijuana for consumption. I've literally had some stuff that tasted like carrots, no joke. The texture and consistency was off. I could have sworn it was ground up carrot matter with some sort of cannabinoid extract sprayed on it.

Most of the stuff I buy tastes like shit, barely gives me a buzz and the prices for it seem too good to be true (quarters for $40CDN). I do not want to smoke it anymore, I am going to outright refuse the joint if it's ever passed to me and they tell me it's dispensary weed. Does anyone else do this? Or does anyone have any hard info on why dispensary weed cannot be trusted? I think they're poisoning us. Seriously. I've never heard of this so-called 'cannabis hyperemesis syndrome,' hippies done smoked alcapulco gold for years without any issue to the best of my knowledge. This is a new age thing, and I don't think it has to do at all with the plant itself, just the way it's cultivated.

I will admit most of my loser strains I grow taste like shit that's probably wat the carrot spray was just very bad bottom shelf. The only way to tell if the weed is good is by smelling it really.

How do you tell it's not poisoning you? We used to have a saying back in the day: "don't panic it's organic!" it was a way to justify smoking weed over something more destructive like smoking meth. We used to pride ourselves on no overdoses, no getting sick, etc. and now there's this wack fucking cannabis hyperemesis syndrome that's making people sick?? Like I said, it's not the plant, it's what the plant is BEING FED in cultivation.

I had some stuff one time that tasted like dill pickles.... was gross and barely got you buzzing. I would probably buy more dispensary weed if where im at they weren't $30-50 an 8th

Here in the USA good dispo bud can be had, but mostly I see what I call LIGHT bud; pretty to look at and a good buzz, but light on taste and smell. I believe in questioning EVERYTHING in this world! To not question is to be a lemming!

weed is sent but it is not psychoactive at all. comes stinking of a non weed smell and 3 days later still hums.

its soft dead weed and they are set up like selling top shelf. absolute farce.
