Time to kick off another grow in the 2x4. Going to grow two Rosette Stone by Dem Native Boys. It’s a cross between Cindy 99 and Jack Herer, photo fem. Going to grow these the Mr. Canuck way. Going to use 70/30 Fox Farm Coco/Perlite and Gaia Green in No. 7 nursery pots good for 6.5 gal. The mix is 10 tbsp of Gaia Green 4-4-4, 10 tbsp of 2-8-4, 1/2 tsp of Recharge, 4 tbsp of Glacier Rock Dust, 6 tbsp of Basalt Rock Dust, 1/2 cup of DE per pot. Pots have been watered in with water ph’ed to 6.2 using vit. C powder to lower the ph with 1 tsp of molasses mixed in. So they are starting there cook. Clear Solo cups are set in the pots and ready to go when seeds pop. Seeds are a float and hopefully we will have helmet heads soon.

Shake 'N Bake! Pretty soon we should be seeing home-grow kits that are as easy as a chia pet.
Edit: As a youngster in the early 80's, I would literally dream about a legal world; what it would look like, how it would evolve. Must say, I'm not disappointed! ✌️

Day 1 of the Rosette Stone grow. Right plant took off good. The left one is a tad slow and still needs to loose it’s helmet. Gave them 1 oz. of water and put domes on them and checked the ppfd open and domed. With the domes in place DLI is perfect at 12.6 by the HLG calculator and apogee meter. Light will stay on 24 hours until these photo seedlings start to complain then go on 18/6. In a day or so I will give the main pots another quart of water to keep the Gaia Green cooking so it will be ready to go on transplant day in two to 3 weeks. A whole pot watering will also give the seedling a bottom of cup watering. Gnomes went in so it’s a grow.

Nice set up, I was led to believe domes on seedling is a no no....humidify the tent but the seedlings need air...Dome clones not seedlings is what I see most people do....I personally never dome seedlings.

Domes won't be there for long. They are helping to provide the needed localized rh to help get the helmet to drop off the seedlings and also reducing the ppfd. There is no dimmer knob on the little light and I'm not going to raise the light anymore for right now. Humdifier is in the tent and ready to go. But for few days the domes work for me and them for right now. I've got the china flu right now so I'm only screwing around with what I have to for the time being. There is method to my madness...

Rosette Stone is 8 days old today. Been pushing them hard with light on 24 hours. They have got 1 oz. of water twice direct into the buried solo cups. With the main pot getting one quart of ph'ed water. Got the Gaia Green going. Roots have taken off in the solo cups. Should be transplanting into there #7 grow pots this coming sat. and putting them on the 350r's. They will be ready for 18/6 when they get transplanted next sat. The domes came off the other day and they then took off. PPFD is 270 at the top of the seedlings and there blowing and growing.

Man ooo Man was the 13th and 14th day of Rosette Stone interesting at the shack. The 12th day was uneventful. Checked on the little girls and all was fine in there world before I went to bed. Told them the 14th day your going into the big pots and called it a night. Well, I woke up the next morning and found the right plant had grown almost 3" over night and burnt the ever loving crap out of herself. The pic does not do it justice showing how much she grew. But the PPFD meter darn well showed it. Whipped the Apogee out and found her at almost 600 ppfd playing like she was a SoCal sun baby and she now has the leather to prove it. Honestly I had to laugh at her. The day before both were right at 300 ppfd and the left plant was still at 300 ppfd.

At this point it was time to go ahead and transplant them. Didn’t want to go through raising the lights and the little light does not have a dimmer so what the heck they were getting transplanted Saturday regardless. Roots looked good for both plants so I went ahead and plopped them off into there holes and watered them in. I set the stretchy girl deeper in her permanent pot. Set there ppfd at 300 and put them on a 18/6 light cycle.

Today they are all settled in. The wife and I are still laughing about the one plants suzy stretch. Just hell bent and bound to kill herself. 24 hours later they are both doing fine as the damage sets in on the burnt plant. 14 days in it’s not a big deal at all being photos. Going to keep a eye and that one crazy girl.

Rosette Stone grow is 30 days today. They have been topped and next week they will more than likely get flipped to flower and start there scrog life and get a top dressing of Gaia Green adjusting the Gaia Green more towards flower. The plant to the left isn’t going vertical as fast as the right plant. Left plant is at 320 ppfd, right plant at 350 ppfd. Will start bringing the dimmers up on the 350R’s and cleaning out the bottom. Getting hard to water. All recovered from the early mishap.

Rosetta Stone 46 days today. The left plant got to a point and stopped growing for me. It went into runt mode. No reason to keep it in the game at all. The right plant will flower the whole tent out with ease. So the left side runt plant went back to the breeder. I’m going to veg the remaining plant for another week or so get it in the scrog and flip to flower. Gaia Green and Coco are working out very good.

Left plant picked up by the seed breeder and gone.

I got to looking at Rosetta Stone and she is finishing up 9 weeks of veg. Since I got rid of the runt I've been letting her get her game face on. Been abusing her under the scrog. Shove, pull, bend rinse and repeat! At some point I should flip her to flower. A few weeks ago I used Extreme Gardening CalCarb foliar spray. What a mess. Not using that crap anymore. It got everywhere! Many leaves still look like they have WPM. Don’t think I will ever get the tent wiped down good and clean after that snake oil didn’t do anything but crap out my tent flimflam man junk. Otherwise she doing well. Been defoliating, trimming and getting her spread out under the scrog. DLI, VPD and all other points of intrest are doing well. I'll flip her in a week or so, not in any hurry at all. Need her to fill the scrog up.

The Gnomes are great ! Looooong time OD grower here. What's the time length difference on a scrog run, compared to a typical seed to harvest run ? Thanks
