Is this potassium sulfate too strong?

I found me some potassium sulfate to use, but it's NPK ratio is 0 - 0 - 50

That's level 50 of K, that seems a little bit extreme. Pardon my ignorance, but before I make the purchase I'd like to know if it's good to go to use at the end of flower. I'm planning my next grow and I'd like to use it then. I'll be doing 7 3 3 fertilizer through to flower then I'm going to mix together the other two fertilizer to make an NPK ratio of 3.5 - 5.5 - 5.5. So equal parts P&K and I'd like to bolster the medium with that fertilizer near the end of the grow for the added sulphur benefit.

Do you guys think it's good to use? Or is it too strong?

i'm a newb at this but, 0-0-50 sounds high.
how would that affect the final taste is what i think, but i'm sure a pro here will chip in

I've used it last months and didn't see any ill effects or changes. It's not like a nitrogen-fertilizer, although the K can be a source of danger. This can be avoided by carefully weighting it according to a recipe when your total K in is known.

Maybe an idea to use the KS already here to increase to a 7-3-5 formulae? How much Ca, Mg & S is in your water?

Otherwise you could just try to search for the recipe of a booster bottle that uses it.

Are we talking about the same potassium sulfate? I'll be using primarily as an end of flower booster, to densify and harden my flowers. The dosage directions are 4grams per 10L, because I'm using 5 gallon pots I'll probably have to half that dosage, with just a tad less I'm thinking, 1.8-1.9grams per pot? What say you?

Not this time around though, I want to observe the effects of flowers that didn't have the additive added to it and then use it and do a comparison for my next grow.

I do not know the mineral content of my water, although I could pull up the chart from the utility company. I just want to know if this 'fertilizer' is too strong or may cause toxicity/burning issues before I pull the trigger on purchasing it. The shipping alone for this stuff is almost the same cost for the product itself.

There shouldn't be a problem using this stuff. You don't add it to the soil in the amounts you'd add regular grow or bloom dry nutes.

Does it dissolve easily?
