Hey all. So my beans cracked yesterday and sprouted tails. All of my seeds came from Seedsman. Running a Vivosun 4x4 tent with an AC Infinity 400w S44 Ionboard with the Ac Infinity T4 exhaust fan, all ran by their Controller 69. Growing in Promix HP and using Homegrown Cannabis Co.'s basic nute package. Growing all autos. Girl Scout Cookies, Blue Dream, Bubblegum, West Coast OG, and Northern Lights. Here are couple of my cracked beans. All look healthy and got a 100% germ. rate.

The Bubblegum is supposedly a smaller plant so I put it in a 3-gallon bag. This is hind sight, but I wish I would have gone with 2 or 3 strains instead of 5. I'll probably regret that later down the road. Lofty dreams of a new grower I guess. Anyway, I'll be posting pics for my grow. If any of you see anything that I might be doing wrong, don't hesitate to let me know. And a huge thank you to all the growers that I have gained information from on blogs and videos. Too many to count!

Member @Backyard_Boogie told me to put the sprouted seeds in small Jiffy Peat pellets (no nutes), then once the white taproot starts sticking out of the bottom of that jiffy pellet then you transfer it into a solo cup with soil. Then from the solo cup go to the main pot. Big pots are not good for seeds/young plants; or at least they are much harder to keep watered correctly. ✌️
Edit: Sorry, just saw you're growing auto's. Not sure how many times up-potting is advisable with auto's.

I don't believe it but I must strongly disagree my friend ☹ and hear me out. Not only did I just fk this up day before yesterday but on my 1st grow as well. Now I am not sure exactly how much impatience played a role, but my 1st grow and 2nd grow were sprouted in jiffy pellets then to solos and 3rd grow just now was rapid rooters then solos. Never ever again. Germ the seeds and then straight to solos for me. Your medium will likely not adhere to the rooter or pellet and it will fall apart. If a seed is planted in the solo directly though, it is given the time to establish the roots from top down that when ready for transplant can hold the shape of the solo once cup removed. Every time I transplant, dry, moist, or wet, the pellets and and rooters made it worse

Hi mate, 5 plants is way too many for that space. I would grow 4 maximum. I grow in a 1mx1m anf had to cut down a big bushy white widow plant when I planted too many and was becoming like the fucking Amazon in my tent at late veg, I almost cried hahahaha Not to mention the waste of nutrients. Good luck dude, peace ✌

Yeah no doubt you could run just 1 plant but also with 4 or 5 he has some wicked options to choose from for variety vs just 1 cultivar. Personally I am in the middle and think for a 4x4 tent that 2-3 plants in 7gals would be optimal imo. I've never run autos though and think this is going to be really cool to see.

Hey welcome I don't think you'll have any trouble with 5 in there, Just don't veg them too long , mostly indica's in your selection won't shoot to the moon after flip like sativa's will.

I've grown 4 in a 3 x 3' and it gave me a very nice spread, I vegged for 6+ weeks. I'm straight into solo with seedlings/ 2 weeks veg then into 1 gal / 1 month into 3 gal and if I go over 2 months I'll go into 5 gal.

They're all autos, so they will be a little smaller. Next time I'm going to stick to just a couple strains at a time. Guess it was 1st-time grower excitement as I held my seed order in my hands, trying to pick out a "few".

Well, they all popped up. This is the West Coast OG. All look healthy. Sorry, the crappy pic came from a crappy cell phone. Used a spray bottle to mist a couple of them because they didn't shed their seed shell.

I ran in a 4x8 but only used a 4x4 area of the tent, did 6 autos was a bit tight but once one of them finished and I made an X pattern with the 5 they had more room to spread out

They where all in 5 gallon fabric pots, had the plants gotten any bigger I would been in trouble though lol

Pic below is when I had 6x in there about 3 weeks before harvest

Day 3. All look healthy. Got the VPD dialed in at 0.7. This is Blue Dream. (that's a drop of water on the plant)
