Did I overfeed my first grow?

Hi all, this is my first grow, so please bare with me.

My Orange Sherbert autos started to really curl and droop after my last water and I’m thinking I may have overdone the nutrients.

For reference I’m use if 70% Mother Earth terracraft, 15% coco 15% pearlite. I’ve been waiting 6-7 days between waterings during seedling and making sure it’s dried out. It’s been drying out quicker now as they got bigger, and watering when the first inch is very dry, 200-300ml. (Plan to increase this and frequency to 2-4 days). Also it’s at a constant 73F 40-45% humidity and 18hr light cycle on VS4000, 20” from top @75% power.

The soil bag said to wait 2-3 weeks to add fert, so I did after week 2 according to the fox farm directions and now see pics curling 2-3 days post that.

My question is, does this look like over feeding? And if so, should I flush or ride it out and leave them be? You can see tip curling and some yellowing starting at bottom most leaves.

Thank you for your input and support!

I don't think you over-fed. I see no nute burn, though there might be some leaf hooking.

I think the main problem is your humidity is too low. The upper leaves aren't expanding the way they should be.

I use mother earth groundswell and fox farm liquid trio, not familiar with terracraft though. Next run i would skip adding the coco. I get about 6 to 7 weeks before i add nutrients with mother earth groundswell, i also dont add a single thing to it, great stuff. Also dont follow the fox farm feeding chart, its to much in my opinion. Feed your plants half the recommended dose, once a week should do it.

Welcome to the farm.

I’ve been seeing the half dosing on the nutrients too on this forum. I’m going to give that a go moving forward. Thanks!

Much appreciated.

The top plant is definitely the worst of the bunch in terms of curling, though they all got the same everything.

I was worried on pic 2 and 4 there was yellowing and spotting on the bottom leaves which wasn’t there before that feeding, nor was the curling.

Probably too over concerned as a newbie. I’ll bump humidity up from ~40’s to 50-60 and see what happens.

@mysticepipedon he's only giving 1.2 cups MAX of water every week thinking that might be an issue. @msully4288 you need to gauge watering and drying by lifting the pots .

Thanks for replying! Looking at notes that 200ml was the weeks 1 and 2, 5 days apart. I use a vivisun soil meter and let it read in the green moist range, I never soaked to let it run off. This third week I’ve watered closer in the 2-3 day range when the meter was trending towards dry.

Too strong too close?

Or too weak and too far?
If @mysticepipedon thinks it’s fine I agree with whatever he says. I was thinking too much light, you could lower the watts or raise it you don’t have to do both
