Cool, I ordered my Black Domina from ILGM, they look great to me! But it's too early to tell if the genetics are legit. Was concerned when people here didn't think much of that company
I hadn't heard anything about them. in fact i just harvested some Bruce banner from ILGM i grew 2 out of 5 seeds. 2 didn't pop and the third i knocked over and it smashed on the floor. I told ILGM that i didn't get 2 to pop and they sent me 5 more seeds no charge and the plant i am growing now is the first seed i planted. I have some other seeds called Bruce Banger from seedsman but from same strains.

How did ilgm treat you when you told them they didn't pop? I remember reading that they wouldn't honor their guarantee unless you sprouted in paper towels. I didn't do the paper towel method and instead stuck them directly in Rockwool

All 5 of mine popped but one didn't do anything other than open up a tap root. So I had 4/5 successful. I've already made like 20 clones from them for me and friends. I believe I found the best pheno out of them and keeping that as a mother.

they sent me 5 replacements no hassles no questions. i told them i didn't have the seeds. they didn't say anything and were really cool about it.

That's awesome. Hmm. I love good customer service. I've found so many cool seeders on here that I wish I could grow them all.

On a whim, I wasn't in need of a new job, I put in for a manager at a local grow/dispensary. Man that would have been a part of a large scale grow

that would be a cool job but i wonder if you have to grow it their way if it's not what you think it should be?

I havent heard too many bad reviews from people i know about ilgm, however ive found a lot of cool seedbanks in the us that sell all kinds of cool genetics and good freebies. One of my favirites is Heritage Seedbank, try em out and thank me later lol.

So here we are at the end of week 4 of flower. The super lemon haze is doing well under the se 3000, but i did at another 100 watt light to make sure i get max par, since this girl is a bit bigger than the 3x3 footprint intended for the se 3000. The se3000 runs super cool and even with the second light my temps are a-ok!
I lowered the ppm's a bit lower than i have before, 700ppm, because i was getting some leaf tip burn and i hear sativas like a lower ppm cuz of their longer, more gradual flowering time. Only 7 weeks to go! Its gonna be a Sativa Christmas!!
Wow~ I like these pictures! Good job! Please share more pictures about the light~ 💕

It was in a smaller town in WV, but offered I think 50-60k, about what I make now but would have been a interesting job.
I tried to use my almost done with college sway and my database/trend knowledge but it didn't work lol. I don't finish school until next summer!! So excited to be an old man and get my Bachelor's

Sounds pretty cool though, Im definitely looking into cultivation as a career path as soon as it becomes available here in Virginia. In Colorado where I used to live, some cultivation managers make upwards of 100K+ a year, so Im assuming its gonna be a cool area for employment! What is your major?

Computer science. So I'd be good at say programming a Pi card to do plant automation. I love coding, but at my current job I'm learning about data and it's something I never thought I would like but it's ok. My current class is about NoSQL databasing, it's interesting. Just biding my time till I can get in what is considered the second silicon valley, the northern VA/DC market. Great salaries for just entry level stuff, the catch is a lot of them require a bachelor's or experience to start. And if you don't know the right people or get your life together later in the game it's hard to get in the door without either.

I was talking to a friend of mine about Raspberry Pi automation for growing, sounds pretty fricken interesting. So it would basically just be a central pc unit that would manage all your grow parameters, kinda like a controller like the Trolmaster pro or something? And yeah dude, i bet its gonna be big time around here cuz there are so many folks who wanna smoke the fire in the NovaDcMd area. Are you seeing that they require a bachelors in like horticultural science or something? I have a masters degree but in anthropology so i cant use anthropology for weed lmfao

Oh no I was talking about software engineering, my likely path.

Really just having a degree in anything can you get in the door sometimes, even if it's an unrelated field, imo.

Whats up everybody! So here is a lil update on the Super Lemon Haze girl under the Spider farmer Se300 light. Buds are starting to fatten up and her terps are starting to get seriously epic. Initially she smells almost like a sharp glue smell, but as you rub your fingers together with her resin, it starts to smell of straight lemon-drop candy. Seriously looking forward to vaping this gal! We have about a month left before i chop, and her trichomes say the same, about 30% milky the rest clear except for a couple amber ones on the leaves. She doesnt have the largest nugs yet, but they are dense and seem like they will put on some weight in the next couple weeks.
The spider farmer light has been a really good light so far, not one issue and its par/light map is really good, letting me get plenty of light even several inches beyond the lights edge. I'd give the light an effective coverage area of 3.8 feet x 3.8 feet. Overall a high quality light that Ill be using in all of my grows from now on. @SpiderFarmerLED hope you enjoy my journal with this light!!
Peace out yall, and if ya wanna check out my other grow where im gonna be posting an update about my grow of some Big Apple Cookies, Peyote Wifi and Banana Krumble, check it out here: https://www.thcfarmer.com/threads/zombie’s-ganja-garden-of-happiness.140527/page-8

Oh right, you said silicon valley lol. Thats cool man definitely a lot of money in that field, though being a pro cannabis grower would be way more fun imo :P. Or combine the two and make a raspberry pi for growing that makes you a millionaire lol

whats up y'all! Your long lost Zombie grower is back! My super Lemon Haze girl is only 1-2 weeks from harvest, her trichomes are almost all cloudy and just waiting for them to start ambering up a bit! Waiting for about 10% amber, though as Super lemon haze is a strong Sativa, i dont mind going a bit more in the 20% amber, 80% cloudy trichome ratio. The leaves are a bit on the too yellow side, probably due to the rootball drainage issue the plant has, however the smell is out of control, my room wreaks of lemon candy.
As for the Spider farmer se 3000, what can I say, its been a banger light since day one, running really cool allowing me to dip my RH into the 30% range! The colas arent as big as id like and i attribute that to two things: genetics, and root zone issues. If it werent for the roots having a bit of a drainage issue, i bet the colas would be 2x as big, though Super Lemon Hazes arent supposed to have the biggest colas, but im pretty sure this is on the smaller side. The colas are very dense although they have a high leaf-to-calyx ratio.
I will for sure run Super Lemon Haze again in the near future though cuz these terps are off da charts.
Lovin this grow, even if its not my finest work :P. My good camera is in repairs so, these are the best my ipad allows me to photograph :P. Peace out and happy growin all.
