I can not find any logic to this Cannabis Feed Shedule (from Jacks Cannabis Feed schedule on wibsite) other than if the Plant some how stops using Calcium as a response right away to the Light Switch to 12/12? Which I highly doubt....

However since lately I almost always seems to delelop mild Potassium Deificency right around 2-3 Weeks Flowering I have considerede it might be a way to allow for easier K uptake for the first 2 weeks of flowering by removing the Antagonist of K Calcium?

Otherwise it makes bascially no sense to me unless Calcium is that Mobile that the Plant can draw it and otherwise doesn't need it for a week?

Why would one remove the most important seconday Nutrient for any amount of time???

Note sure other than that is a bloom booster and not part of the 3-2-1 formula packs. The description says only to use it for bud onset and then back to the normal fert schedule.

I have.

I haven't used it since the first two times I did. There needs to be a source of CA when switching to that.

Both grows, all the plants, clones and seedlings, developed a CA deficiency and then a K one later.

Thanks for that. I would guess that becasue if Cannabis magically didn't need Calcium for the First Wek of Flowering scientists would have figured this out by Now. That is a big suggestion to place in a feed schedule wihtout evidence (No Calcium?)

bill farthing: Peak Ca consumption happens at transition and can be applied as a drench or foliar.

Metasolate Calcium- I believe this is the Ca that is used without N and Magnesium.

Yeah someone else pointed it out to me during my first grow and yeah Calcium def appeared after about 1 week of flower.

The K def appeared around week 4 or 5 for both grows IIRC.

@DaKine808 That seems like a great suggestion. My issue was always finding a Calcium mix that didn't have N or Mg in it.

The product in question does bring on bud set a couple of days earlier than without it, It will create calcium issues if you are running the plants hard. You can look at a couple products to eliminate the calcium issues. Those being No N Flower Cal Mag by Grow More or Calcium Chloride.
