Who wants to clone like an Og, or who thinks they can step up and give a Og a lesson in how to clone ?

I don't consider "Clonex" to be a PGR. Nor does the USA EPA. It's also certified for use in Colorado and Washington on medical cannabis. There's nothing to worry about with clonex rooting gel.

Clone away ... healthy clones rock. It's not a race so if its rooted in 3 days or 10 days ... it doesn't really matter.

im curious as to how indole3butyric acid (a plant hormone and the active ingredient in clonex) which is part the auxin family (a class of plant hormones or pgr's) isnt considered the very thing it is ,according to the us epa
is the us epa legit?

@daggarooker I was doing some biological studies and wanted to learn more about WPM - since you seem to be a pro at growing it on your plants was hoping you could help me with your methods

There are many PGRs that are non toxic. IBA is one of them used as a rooting hormone.

ethylene is a plant hormone does that mean if you put a ripe banana in your grow room you are using the dreaded PGRs.

triacontanol is a plant hormone derived from bees wax, certain kelp species and alfalfa. Does that mean using a cover crop of alfalfa is using PGRs.… or all you organic guys adding kelp supplements are using the dreaded PGRs.

See the problem is PGRs have a bad name because people lump then all together… some can be extremely toxic but other are not toxic at all….

to all you anti PGR ppl whether your organic or synthetic really need to stop the misinformation that is all PGRs are bad. Because 99.9% of growers are using PGRs whether they know it or not

not to mention your plants are making then on their own

Is making clones supposed to be...hard? Everyone has thier own method, I don't think how fast they root really proves much honestly, could be cause of method, environment, or genetics. I personally prefer seeds because they have a more robust root system, which I need outside.

also a thicker bigger branch will generally root quicker than compared to a small thin branch..

I agree with this 100% for outdoor growing because clones don't have a taproot like seeds do. Im taking clones from my gsc and turning the seed plant into my outdoor plant. Going to give her a hole big enough for 20 gallons of soil and hope thats enough lol.

Well I grew a 30 ouncer last year trapped in a buried 7 gallon fabric... so 20 should do the trick lol.

Wow thats crazy, i had 7 gallon pots last year, not buried but i didnt even pull a total of 4 ounces 🤣🤣🤣 its so much work to grow photos here, but i want to smoke some of this "amazing sun grown weed" ive never gotten my hands on, and i feel like i have to do it myself in order to accomplish that lol.

mmmm ya who knows
I think it's a fine line, too thick and woody they take forever or never root, like I late topped and made clones from the tops 2 years ago and they were super thick and it took like 2 weeks plus. Too thin and they're just weak. Gotta find the sweet spot.

Tops are better for production. They already have more side branching and they will always be the best clones. If you have something over about 1/8" in diameter you can try to shave off some of the wood like material on the last 1/2" of the stem to aid in rooting. I would run nothing but tops if I could. I have even made Mini Moms to create more tops.

For sure, I gave one of mine to a buddy cause I didn't need it and that fucker was almost the size of it's mama. I don't usually clone anymore, just wanted to make sure I still knew how lol. I learned from an og and that method is probably obsolete by today's standards, but it works. Used to have swamp monster mamas back in the early 2000s and they'd root in 3-5 days religiously at near 100%...but swamp, the real swamp monster, three leaf beast plant, was a ridiculously vigorous grower, so that helped I'm sure. I wish I had pics of those beauties... but we didn't want evidence back then lol. Actually I wish I had that Swamp mama, fuck the pics. 🤣

Dude. It's gonna probably just get me banned or laughed at for helping you. Dm me. This world has changed into a better place,
Just put your dick back in your pants and show us what you are talking about. Not trying to be a dick but you came out of the gate pretty arrogant and you didn't back up your claim. Most of us have a fairly decent idea as to how to clone. You claim to have a better way that will yield great roots quick.

Great! Show me what you are talking about. If we see that your method works better then props to you but, to date, the only thing that I've seen you offer is posts with a lot of talk but nothing to back it up. Remember, it ain't bragging if you can back it up!!!🙂

We're here to help each other. If you've figured out a better, faster, more consistent way? Awesome....We're all ears(eyes)!
