that zookies tho beautiful cultivar
Thanks, she was a very late start and could have used more time to fatten up but I ran out. Think I started her may first, which is way too late to get big here. She was seed from a friend, who's friend made the cross, so not sure it's a traditional zookies, I have probably 20 more of those seeds, maybe I'll run her again and start on time. Can tell in the flavor she was a bit premature and she only gave me a few ounces, she sure was pretty though and still has a nice buzz.

I did a scrog inside with a zookie bagseed, wasnt colorful like yours, it had very bright frosted lime green nugs, and only yeilded 8 ozs from a full 3x3 scrog, i wasnt impressed but the smoke was very good.

Her buds stayed bright green, just the leaves went black. I'm all about flavor and unfortunately her premature status didn't help that aspect, usually mix her with something more flavorful.

I actually don't mind the the lower THC percentage on my sativas because if they're too strong the fuck with my anxiety. Indica, smack me in the face with 30% all day lol. Still thinking of getting some stuff from Trustfall too. Where is Cinderella 99 XX from?
If strong sativas give you anxiety problems, Cinderella 99 XX might be a bad choice. I'm growing it for the first time now, but I've grown many a C99 cross over the years, and they tend to add a little electricity to a buzz.

It's from Brothers Grimm (breeder is "Mr. Soul"), who was a legendary breeder from the 90s and early 2000s, before leaving the biz for a decade or so. Many of his creations were then used by breeders to create Space Queen and many of the strains "Subcool" (TGA seeds) made, like Vortex, Jack the Ripper, etc.

I have a special attraction to speedy, heart-racing, confusing and frenzy-whipping strains, so maybe it's best to avoid Cinderella 99 of any kind.

So you're after the cocaine like effects of a strong Sativa? 🤣 I love sativas, if they're too strong I usually just mix em with some indica to take it down a notch. Depends on my mood too, if I'm feeling fine and doing a project outside or something physical like a hike, it doesn't bother me. If I'm just sitting inside, chilling, probably overthinking, already in an anxious state, it's a bad idea. Super Silver Haze was my favorite last harvest and it's strongly sativa dominant, so if I want to enjoy that and chill, I need to mix it. I tried to smoke to calm down and didn't realize hubs had rolled the SSH plain and had a panic attack lol. Fucking anxiety ruins everything lol.

When I started smoking weed, sativas were all that could be had in the US. Heart-racy is the way it is supposed to be.

My love for that kind of buzz has gotten me in trouble when I smoke after a period of abstaining. One particularly memorable time, I ALMOST DROVE MYSELF TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM of the local hospital. I just kept reminding myself that no one has ever ODed from weed, and that if I went to the ER, I would seriously regret it very soon thereafter. My heart rate was somewhere between 130 - 140 bpm. I was what some might call WIRED.

Cinderella 99 gets my vote. It's a sativa that should actually finish in your neck of the woods. I've yet to grow it outdoors but it's a personal favorite of mine for indoors. It hits hard and lasts a long time. It's also a pretty easy strain to grow (inside).

Excited to see what you choose and watch you grow them out this season.
I love the panic mode pot.. 🤷‍♂️ 🥴
Old enough to know there are few true emergencies, besides the ones we create.🤣
Life happens high or not..

Well I don't currently have that strain... you got some? lol. I can usually get them to the finish with extra effort, you've seen my blanket fort shenanigans. 🤣 Hopefully Ma Nature will bless us with a warm fall again.

I like it too under the right circumstances... if I can get through that first 15 minutes without going full panic mode, I'm golden lol. My brain is a complicated place, never know what's gonna go down up there lol.. it's a nice mixture of anxiety, depression, PTSD, and a little bipolar for good measure. Anything I add to my body is really a sort of mood Russian roulette 🤣

Actually I do have some seeds left from the last time I grew it ... about a year ago.

Here's a link if you want to pursue it. At some point, you'll likely want to run it. It matures in about 8 weeks . Mid 20's THC and typical sativa high.

I'll vote for the Candy Dawg.
Think you should set one auto up on its own and see.
Maybe an early harvest?

Yeah that's what I bought the lemon pie for, but upon doing my planning, I see it says indoor yield up to 20 oz, outdoor is like 6 oz... so now it seems like a waste to grow it outside lol. The only other Auto I have currently is another Gorilla Glue like the one I currently have going in my closet... unless the Seedstockers ones are autos, which I'm not entirely sure because there's always limited info on the freebies. I think a kind fellow farmer might be sending me a few beans though, so I may have more options.

Not that I have a proper set up or strong enough light to pull 20 ounces off an auto inside, so I guess it doesn't really matter. 🤷‍♀️

In my experience with autos, the most i pulled was 11 ounces off a zkittlez auto. I think i got wicked lucky to be honest. 20 seems out there, not saying it isnt possible but probably very hard to accomplish.

Yeah, you know how they hype up thier numbers anyway. 20 ounces is good for a photo, let alone an auto. The Bruce Banner #3 claims it can yield up to 5.5 pounds outdoors... which I don't see that happening, but who knows. If I grow that one it will get the big scrog lol. I've never made it past about 2.25 pounds, usually average around a pound per plant on the normal size ladies. Whomever I start first gets the prime garden spot and is usually my big yielder. I intentionally reigned them in with buried pots this past year, maybe now that I know an outdoor scrog works for me, I'll go back to holes and Super soil and let em go nuts lol.

outdoor scrog
Im actually stealing this from you and trying it myself this year. It looked like it really helped you out in all aspects of your grow. I already have the stuff to build one, Im going to use 8 foot fence stakes, and stainless steel wire to make a 6'x6' net. Not sure how big your squares were, but im going to make mine 6 ir 8 inches, havent decided yet as im just designing it in my head. I have already decided the GSC i started a couple weeks ago will be the one that goes under the scrog.

It definitely did, I used the green coated wire fence with the rectangular openings... I'd have to measure, but I think they were 1x2 inches or maybe 2x3... and If I needed a bigger hole for a branch I just removed a few spots with wire cutters, made a few big arm sized holes for pruning purposes too. I recommend something coated because they don't like metal touching thier stalks, as I learned when trying to use uncoated landscape pins for training one year... and the rubbing that the wind causes makes it worse.
