Hi Guys & Gals, just a quick hello!
I've just started growing in the hopes of helping my Mother in-law with a few health ailments.

I'm at week 9 of an auto named "Cake Batter", using 2x Mars Hydro P600's in a Mars Hydro 70x70x160 tent.
I think she looks great so far, but this is my first attempt so I may be a little biased! 😉

Any & all constructive advice is greatly appreciated... 👍

Looks good man doing well.
Only thing I would do next time in try keep the canopy bit more even but that's personal preference.
I think I started the LST a bit late, as the stalks appeared very strong & inflexible. I bent them as much as I dared.
I'll definitely get on it much earlier next grow!

I top but I've not done any LST or light stress training, I do top or fim twice on most plants some just once. It increases colas, and i love me some big colas. I use a new series of lights by Viparspectra, the KS series KS3000 300w. 4 bar style led. SSgrower

Welcome to the farm. Looks much better than my 1st grow did. I agree, next time I would Top the plant 1-2 times . I generally start topping on the 4th set of leaves and have never had problems. Again, Nice job!

Yeah might have been but late, definitely easier to start early.
Everyone does it differently.
I like to top at the 4th or 5th node on clones let them grow a little, then pick the strongest 6 branches, chop the others off and spread them 6 out evenly.
In saying that on some strains they end up too bushy doing that.

rangabud, Trae1170 & SSgrower. As for "Topping", most of what I've read online is warning against it with Autoflowers. Something to do with the limited time to recover... Are you guys talking about Photoperiods or Autos?

Today, I added a couple of 50w "full spectrum" LED's to add a little red, I read online that this can help during the bud stage, is this true...?

Of the two training methods, I settled on Lst because of increased yield, not because of any topping stress or recovery time.

Here is the LED spec that I used to make a couple of 60 degree projectors for my tent, these are supporting the 2x Mars Hydro TS600's...
With an auto I don't do much training they may get bent a bit to expose inner branches but there's no recovery time in veg...with Photo's you can do what you want but if an auto's take a hit anywhere in their life it effects their yield. Look at a YT video with Kyle Kushman Chiropractics then have atter with his technique if you like it....
