You're gonna end up with mold man. Im telling you, get them in a paper bag or just lay them out in a dark room on some cardboard. They arent dry enough.
some of them felt crispy, i will put them back on my drying racks.

You want them 58-62% in the jars, my personal preference is closer to 58 because i feel at 62% it burns to slow
okay so i will the then dry again today and then try and repack them tomorrow and see what the humidity is then. just don’t want them to get to crispy

Outside a little crispy is fine. Inside the bud is where you don’t want to damp.

No hurry to go in jars. You haven’t over dried. With or without RH pads it will dry/cure.

We keep saying paper bag and newspapers or cardboard box because you want something that will suck up moisture but not have the buds stick.

Then you put back in jars with hygrometer.

okay yeah just being overly cautious cause i don’t want it to dry out really bad like last time. but yeah they’re on drying racks now.
i gotcha so the paper and cardboard would help soak up the moisture. could i put newspaper or cardboard on my drying rack or no?
Use what you like and know. We just give you options. 👍
yeah definitely appreciate all the options and opinions.

Don’t think that’s necessary. It’s in place of the rack. Paper bag is best for a lot of reasons

Remember you want it to be like a cigar box. Not to damp or dry as it screws with burn, taste, and mold.

We know or we wouldn’t do it. 🤣

Can’t wait to start asking you for advice.

Ah. Got ya. Like mine. I use it for leaves and stems.

I was thinking about using mine in the basement shower with just the tops harvested. Let the lower buds ripen up.

They will over dry in that so keep an eye on it. I would put a few in a paper bag and compare.

No. Just watch it as I find the leaves I put in dry faster. But I’m no where near you or your environment.

I know. All of us noobs do.

No, but you have options this time. You also know what to do if things change. Failing that you can tag. GNick & Goodshit97 & six others are here at any given time.

Just don’t panic and do something out of fear. You jarred a little early. You put it back. All good.

no it stays between 60-65 goes up when the humidifier turns on

it’s been staying steady at 60 and least that’s what then hygrometer says the humidifier humidistat is set to 55

Okay then just be patient. You’ll be really pissed if you rush and make a mistake.

And mold is dangerous. Most will just toss it. Some will make oil or hash out of it but that’s about it.

Add or remove humidity, keep temp as stable as you can and wait.

How many days after cut are you?

My friend there is nothing more to do for now. Check once in morning and once at night. Leave alone the rest of the time.

This will take days at a minimum. Most go weeks.
