Almost week 6 of flower this plant has always been a lighter color but recently has gotten worse. It’s my first grow open to any help. The run off ppm is 1000. Ph is 5.85 I use ro water. 6 of nine plants have burnt tips. The last 2 waterings I gave just water to flush. Need a little help to figure out what’s going on.

I would like to say that your pH is been off for quite a while unbeknownst to you or maybe you just got lazy LOL I am guilty of such things too LMAO. But I would say give him a good Flushing if you're using a 5 gallon pot give it five to 10 gallons at least I would do this twice after I've done that with just regular tap water I would pH my media to 6.5 and bring your ppms down to approximately 600 and I think that ought to straighten you out I'm a newbie myself I have a few grows under my belt mostly using liquid nutrients and fox farm soils I'm currently running Skittles autoflowers and 5 gallon Fabrics and soil amended with dry amendments and I too have the same problem you do kind of lol, I have a PPM currently of 2500 and a pH of 7.5 I'm taking me a little break and then I'm going to flush him again get my pH right and hopefully get these ppms down I'm about 2 to 3 weeks from Harvest unfortunately

When I've had yellowing leaves, the problem has been related to lack of nutrients. The problem I've had is figuring out why nutrients are lacking. That can be confounded by other possibilities, like light bleaching. Your pH is a bit low, and that can cause some nutrient problems.

My ph was low for quite some time as I over fed them in the veg. I was lazy and about a month ago I started testing the run off ph and ppm and flushed my 3 gallon fabric pots with 7 gallons of tap water and the last 2 gallons I used ph 6.5 ro water. I use lotus nutrients. These are Bruce banner fem I vegged for 3 weeks before flipping Just hoping it doesn’t get worse lol I’ll definitely give another good flush

Ok I’ll try raising my ph . It is directly in the middle where the light is the strongest. I had my light 8 inches above but moved it up to 12 might move it up some more. Just to be safe. Thank you

I think they'd be a good idea take some light off of them I'd raise my light lower daytime nighttime temperatures we want to try to simulate fall for more tricrome production before harvest all the best to you

Ok I raised them to about 16 inches from
The tallest cola. My runt seems to be the best right now. Ok noted thank you. Do you water with colder water towards the end?

As a matter of fact that's a good observation. In my research we want more trichromes and the way to get them is to stress your plants about the last 3 weeks before Harvest. I don't really think it's a good idea to use cold water as far as 70° to 67° I think is fair game but anything lower you're going to really stunt the plant and then the buds won't blow up the plant will stall the best thing in my opinion is 3 weeks before Harvest start dropping your ppms and get yourself to about 300 to 200 before Harvest and during your light schedule when the lights on drop your temperature one to two degrees a day for 3 weeks till you get down to about 62 60° at Harvest Time because in my opinion the perfect Harvest when you're hang drying your bud you want 60% humidity and 60° and I feel like that's just enough stress on them to produce Frosty buds trichromes that is. I've read a lot of stuff on YouTube and I've seen people drill holes in the stalks to stress them I've seen people put ice in their containers to stress them for trichrome production but I guarantee a cold water and low temperatures are setting you up for mold and root rot. You got to remember to take care of your roots you want to get you some fungus some black strap molasses on your water days not on your chemical days. Also about a month before Harvest maybe 3 weeks start tapering off your light damn it or start raising it progressively a little bit every couple days as you are imitating the fall weather and I would personally on my flush 2 weeks before Harvest I would use cold tap water PH at 6.8 get the ppms down to 200 300 you should have some Frosty nuggets man that's good luck to you buddy

No. Not in my opinion. Others may disagree. I use water that's close to the temperature of the growing environment.

Many fruit-bearing plants produce better after they have been stressed or harmed. Doing harm to them causes them to work harder during their reproductive stage. Knowing when and how to do so surely must be part of the art of growing.
