Hi all

I have a garage, dimensions of 16ft L x 9ft W x 9ft H.

I humidity/temperature control the whole room with an Inkbird + hu/dehu, and a split system AC.

I'm going to use one corner as a dark, dedicated drying space, and use a curtain to cover it up.

Dimensions of the corner space will be roughly 3.3ft depth, 5.2ft height, 4ft width.

I am going to run a curtain rod across/around the corner, and run a curtain along it to black out/close the dry space off.

My question is, what type of material could I use for the curtain portion that would be optimal for a drying space? I'll be using the same material to cover the top, and maybe the walls in the space too.

I want something somewhat heavy so it doesn't blow around with the AC etc, and something that will blackout obviously, but something suitable for surrounding drying weed that won't cause any problems...

I know I could get a tent, but I need the space to be a little more flexible, so need to do it this way. Or if someone has a better idea on how to make something custom like this but make it good, I'm all ears. Last piece of my puzzle, and drying is comnig up next week 😅

Here's a crappy picture of the idea:

That really is a crappy picture. Since it's going to be same temp/rH of garage just make sure no light is hitting plant. Dark sheets or cheap blackout curtains would work just hung from ceiling. I keep saying I am going to get a tent for drying but do really well with just a dark sheet hung over a small closet. I can keep my temps and rH right where I need them for a good 7-10 days drying time.

😅 I definitely don't claim to be an artist... thanks so much for the reply, sounds like I'm overthinking, I will look for the easiest blackout material I can find around here :) thank you!
